ALL POSTSBell at the end of volume 11
<p>I am going to say I haven't read it because I can't read Japanese, however I have read the summary and read all the translated novels so I think I have enough information to form an opinion.
</p><p>So we have Bell, once again outcasted by the citizens of the town, fighting to help protect the monsters that adventurers have sworn to kill.
</p><p>And at the end...he just goes back. I'm I the only one who feels that Bell not going rogue or at least showing some contempt for <span style="font-weight:normal;">Orario, adventurers, the Guild, or even the gods? </span>
</p><p>I know that Bell's deal is that he is pure and naive but it's really getting to me. He is constantly slighted by almost everyone in the series and he just takes it. Unless it involves Hestia, to which he will go balistic.

The only thing I can say if you have seen a glimpse of Volume 12 with this so called Expedition they are going to start kissing his ass after this because this Volume is to gain Bell's respect back as a adventurer.

<p>like you, adventurers are "sworn"to fight monsters, to gather fame (by leveling up and getting stronger) and wealth (through magic stone commerce), and to protect the people on the surface. bell's no diffrent he also kills countless monsters.
</p><p>this was mentioned in the novel but bell is protrayed as someone who can feel the pain of people through his own experience. and since he was attacked by goblin back at his native village, he knows monsters are dangerous and need to be dealt with, to protect people.
</p><p>that's why he can not go rogue or hold any kind of grudge or comtempt for people cuz he understand them
