<p>So......well I've been reading the Light Novels and I've been getting this vibe of what I believe is going to happen.
The Hestia Familia members besides Bell are all in some sort of positions where they all have a fallback plan (besides the normal familias that are friendly with them). Lili patched things up with Soma before leaving, Welf is in love with Hephaestus and would want to go back, Mikoto is going back to the Takemikazuchi Familia, and Harhumine could join her. Fair enough Lili and Haruhime are in love with Bell but let's take a minute to think about it. If at the end of the story, Hestia is attacked in a climactic scene and ascends back to heaven, and if Bell is still in love with Aiz until then he may join the Loki Familia after that, the other members going to the previously mentioned familias. Hestia wouldn't technically be dead either so that would be...somewhat better. If Ryuu joins the familia though, my entire theory is bust though.

<p>Yeah, I know the author couldn't kill of Wiene but this wouldn't technically be death, she'd still be alive in heaven watching down on them or whatever. </p>

<p>Thats no different than the concept of a deceased loved one watching over someone, they're still gone and can never interact with each other ever again. Wiene was more of a case for trying to illustrate Fels' humanity and personal struggles, as well as an extreme emotional crisis for Bell, than it was about killing off a character or not. </p>

<p>Well, I just feel that everything being so set up in case Hestia does ascend is more than a coincidence, I don't feel like Gareth's been set up to just die like that, </p>

For me I'd like to see Bell fights OEBD by him self after all adventureres lose to it and Bell will be the last one standing then sacrifices himself to defeat OEBD then zeus or hestia show up when bell on the verg of death and everyone is crying on him then zeus or hestia uses his/her diven powers then return to heaven and if it was hestia then maybe bell will join loki familia
