<p>Yes there is no limit to how much skills can someone have or how many can they obtain by level. <p>The bigger the reputation of the Familia, the stronger he makes their members. While that itself is not bad, he doesn’t take in consideration how it affects the story and even breaks his own power system and just let himself go. Everyone will get expenentionally stronger to deal with more threats, causing the enemies to get stronger to pose a threat. The villains see the heroes getting stronger after defeating the last villains, so they train up to defeat the heroes, causing the heroes to train harder & gain new powers. It's the way. As long as the characters gain new skills, spells, abilities, or weapons, I'm happy. I don't want Danmachi to become Dragon Ball & Bell to defeat each enemy only using the same old techniques, over & over again! You can only watch a beam struggle so many times before it gets boring! Just say no to spamming firebolt! </p>

<p>Sorry to say this but Power progression doesnt really work with Danmachis Power System because it is to restricted with killing/doing things that bring someone exellia. A lvl 4 Bell cant go in a dungeon and kill lvl 2s Monsters to gain stats because they are too weak. Skills, DAs etc, can only be gained if something happened that struck someone or experiencing specific things that shape someone:  </p><p>Danmachi is already far far worse then anything DB showed and did. The Author ignores his own established power system because it is shitty in comparisson to DB that was always showed that just training daily or even just becoming angry makes you stronger.  </p>

<p>Power progression is part of a story but the way Oomori is doing it is terrible. He doesn’t just make them stronger, he makes them ridiculously OP. </p><p>Oomori first made the Zeus and Hera Familias have a Level 8 and a Level 9. That meant they had plenty of Level 7s as well. Since even with that they were defeated he made most of the main cast useless since anyone that was Level 7 or below by the time they fought the OEBD would be more a drag than a help. </p><p>He then made two members of those Familias Level 7s so OP that they could overcome the level gap, something that was impossible for anyone besides Bell. <p>Even if they gain them everyone will be useless for the final fight. <p>Bell continues using Argonaut every time he needs to defeat a powerful enemy. </p>

<p>I think the biggest mistake that was made was introducing numbers and a quantifiable level system coupled with time scale. The only way I can see this being salvaged is if there is a time leap and everyone gains several levels. Otherwise Bell will just have to become so OP he will simply solo the dragon, though given his leveling gains, this is likely what's going to happen. </p>

The problem with the time skip is that Bell would also continue growing in that time.

<p>I personally would like to see a skill like "Aero Mana", because Argonaut has severe drawaback, each use burns through stamina like hell, he has restrained himself form using it often and he himself has mentioned several times that even smaller charges leave him drained and wanting to finish fight quickly. </p><p>He already has slayer type skill, so it would be good if he can gain something that can patch-up current weak point and limits. </p>

<p>What I wonder is, can bell's ox slayer be applied to demi humans like ottar? Yeah I know, probably not but somehow I believe oomori will make that happen, so that bell has a chance against him, even though he is status and levelwise beneath him (during the time they fight). </p>
