I am curious as I do not usually read anything but the novels but as something come out about who Bell's parents are?
I know that there has been speculation that it was a member of the Zeus Familia and a member of the Hera Familia. But has this been confrimed or is it still spectulation? Due to how important this can prove to be in filling out Bell's backstory. Will this be covered in the novels?
It was revealed in the Astraea Record, the event for the third anniversary of DanMemo. His father was a supporter and the weakest member of Zeus Familia.
His mother was called Meteria and had a disease that didn’t allowed her to leave her bed. She had Hera's falna so she was technically part of Hera Familia.
It will clearly be revealed also in the LNs as it is information about the MC.
I do not know if the stuff in DanMemo is canon but if it is then it definitely needs to get put in the novels.
That is a major part of Bell's backstory and it helps to fill out his background and might help explain why he is seemingly able to break the limits of a normal adventure in terms of stats. SS and SSS stats might be something that only those two familias were capable of achieving.
Being able to go past the S999 limit has nothing to do with his parents being of Zeus and Hera Familias. Not even them were able to do it. The reason he can is because of Liaris Freese.

Okay, thanks. But I am surprised that no one in either the Zeus or Hera familia had any kind of special trait that allowed the to exceed the S999 limit.
Maybe I misunderstood but Liaris Freese allows for faster growth based on the strength of Bell's feelings for Ais and it makes him immuned to godly charms as a side effect but it was never mentioned that it allowed him to surpass the S999 limit.
Then again maybe that actually isn't the limit on stats but it just takes so long to normally level up a stat past that point that it seems like it is the limit.

We treat it as semi canon because of its distance and lack of bearing on the main series. Essentially because it is happens so far from the main story's time and doesn't really effect it, it is fine to treat it as canon. In contrast the grand day event would blatantly have plot holes that should make it impossible, similar plot holes are not present in the Argonaut event.
Isnt the spirit power system that was established on the Argonaut event retconned in the 3rd Anni event? I remember someone in the 3rd anni event thread mentioning something like this (i think it was Angelo but i can be wrong about that). Wouldnt that be a Plot Hole and make that event as well non canon?
