Honestly it wouldn't really matter that Ishtar's plan was more complex since the Loki Familia dealt with the Gugalanna

A reboot would largely depend on the studio involved, and whether JC would allow another studio to do one

I don't see a Sword Oratoria reboot getting more than 12-13 episodes just like the other seasons

I agree with option 2 to just add mentions of what's happening in Sword Oratoria instead of a full on anime adaptation. Having season 2 adapted would just show how disappointing SO gets, especially with SO7 and 10

Also, DanMemo's already adapted SO5 and 6 so I doubt there'd ever be a reboot

This is just a personal opinion but I feel they should reboot the entire danmachi series. There's a lot of missing parts like you said and there are also other plot issues (like the astera record) that needs to be properly integrated into the main story.

@Angelo Gabrini I remember Ishtar being there when they unleashed one of those demi-spirit monsters against the Loki Familia but I think that she left before the fight ended.

Therefore, I do not think that she knew that all of the Demi-spirit creatures that were being created down there were destroyed by the Loki Familia.

Ishtar was only going to get the Gugalanna though so talking about the other Demi Spirits is irrelevant

That may be true but what I am trying to say is that she only witnessed the beginning of the fight between the Gugalanna and the Loki Familia when they were struggling with it.

If I recall correctly, she did not stick around for the whole fight so she may not have known that it was defeated.

I only vaguely remember that part of the story and the group talking to her about specially created Demi-spirits that they were working on. I believe that one was said to be pretty much finished at that time and they unleashed it on the Loki Familia to show how strong it was.

I believe that Ishtar decided that she wanted it after seeing the beginning of the battle and that she did not stick around for the whole thing.

Good point. That would have left her with only the people that could cast curses to aid her in her battle against the Freya Familia.

Ishtar was insane to think that she even stood a chance of winning against the Freya Familia given that everything she had been planning had gone up in smoke.

In my opinion this is more a problem of the author introducing things later on

You read about Ishtar and her Berberas, and then you think "how is Ishtar going to be Freya with a level 6, a level 5, and a whole army of level 4s? I feel like SO6 and 7 are the author's way of trying to explain why she thought it'd work, after he'd written DM7
