Bell will most likely end up with Ais in the end but what the other girls in his life will have to say about this is something that I am curious about.

I just hope that Tiona and Bell do not ever get into a conflict and Bell defeats her because I am starting to get the impression that Bell might be her type. If she is anything like her sister then she might become extremely possessive.

I mean Finn has denied Tione's advances but she just will not get the hint.

Although, a fight between her and Ais over who gets Bell would be entertaining.

That would be entertaining, though what about Ryu? Wonder what she'd feel like after knowing that Bell is after someone else, her friends did say to not let him go, got to see what happens there.

While it is clear that Bell and Ais will have a relationship in some capacity, the harem route is still very much alive as the author refuses to stop making more and more girls fall in love with Bell, and continues to develop their feelings toward him. The only real endgames for the romance subplot going by the plot and narrative are Ais x Bell and Bell x Harem. An open ending is just the author chickening out and not finishing the story and doesn't count.

For me, I'd prefer a ending like this

Ais is facing the OEBD, and due to her hatred and drive for revenge above all else, she let's many people in her familia and many other's in other familia's die simply because she isn't willing to wait for revenge, and not only does she die, she drag's dozen's if not hundred's of people to death with her and get many more injured as Bell saves the day with his powers and determination, and end's up making the harem as he lost his love of Ais learning that you can't fall in love with the first thing you see

That's the point, it's to teach Bell that his first love should not be on look's alone and someone who doesn't know him to well, it should be someone who he knows and is close to naturally

Ais and Bell's relationship is not only unnatural and only existed because Ais wanted to learn how he was growing stronger and faster, but it was also fragile as Ais seemed to not care about Bell enough to listen to him about the Xeno's until Wiene literally ripped part's of her body out, her feeling's for Bell are no more than her wanting to learn his secret to getting stronger faster, and if she knew, she would have likely never gone any farther than apologizing and then vanishing that instant without a second though

This is how I see it, and as an example of what could have been a healthy relationship in my opinion and who I wish Bell would get with is Haruhime, my reason why is because she didn't use Bell in any way and has been honest with him and only lied to him for his own good, and once she was saved from Ishtar, she did everything in and beyond her power to help Bell and is loyal to Bell to a fault

some can say Lily is good, but she stole and lied to Bell at first, so I am holding that against her a bit

Mikoto love's Takemikazuchi so she's a no go

Enia is not given enough screen time for me to make a proper or accurate enough judgment yet compared to the others as of yet

Ryuu is complicated and is likely suppressing her feeling's for Syu/Freya so she isn't that good in that sense of holding her true self back

Hestia is a bad match since she is more obsessed with Bell since she wants him even if he's unhappy in my eyes, and Bell sees her as a mother figure above all else, and will not violate that relationship, so for me, I respect Bell for rejecting a goddesses love not our of spite because they love someone else, but rather, respect of them as family

Freya is much worse as she would hurt Bell in a near or completely fatal way for her own happiness above all else as well as Bell only meeting her one time and that wasn't much as Bell himself isn't even what Freya is in love with in the first place

Lefiya would be a good contender in all honesty as both are alike in many ways in all honesty and rival's Haruhime in that sense in my opinion if not for her petty jealousy of Bell for something beyond his power and not his fault

And I can go on, but you get what I'm saying, right, Ais is a bad match because she's to focused on her own petty goal of revenge, I'm not saying she doesn't have a right to be mad, but she need's to move on and live her life, or she let the OEBD win before she even faces it

^Let me sum up that entire post in one sentence. You 're happy to ignore all context that explains and show why anything is done by any girl that doesn't fit what you want, as well as invent some thing that are entirely nonexistent.

If you going to dissect something such as this you need to be able to remove yourself at least somewhat and consider why people are the way they are.

Lets see, Ais had her parents brutally killed by a monster in front of her eyes, shattering her life and never truly had a chance to move on as her guardians let and encouraged her to follow her goal. Additionally she happens to live in a world where monsters have literally been killing people and causing mass destruction for thousands of years with out any sign of change. She literally has her world shattered by the events in volume 11. Additionally her interest in Bell moved passed just wanting to learn how he grew so fast long ago and has developed into a true friendship caring deeply about him and it not like she isn't trying her damned to save Orario.

Ryuu definitely doesn't have feelings for Syr as you imply. That is purely just trying put stuff there that doesn't exist.

Lili for all her faults had an abysmal life that she was unable to escape and her only outlet was to try and steal from adventurers. Even when she tried to escape the adventurers beat and threatened anyone who took her in and then used, abused, and stole from her. Hmm, seem she might have had a pretty understandable reason for what she did.

Freya has her faults as well but her world view is that of a god who does not see the world through the same lens as mortals. To her Bell is an immortal soul that doesn't end at the death of one life. While I would agree she is a terrible person in love she is shaped by her existence.

Hestia is immensely obsessive and insufferably petty. That said she more than likely will choose to let Bell be happy if the story does indeed take the Ais route.

Even in Lefiya's case there is context to it and her jealousy is understandable. But more importantly she was in love with Filvis.

Ais is a bad match for you, that is you opinion and nothing you put forth is persuasive to that end in context of the story. Oh and Bell fell in love mostly because she saved him and people do actually fall in love at first sight.

Fr,this dude said haruhime,there is a lot of girls that didnt use bell,also the author explained that bell will most likely end up with ais not because of the things now but later on in the story that we dont know about yet,and killing the whole loki familia off is the depressing part and that wouldnt teach bell a lesson tbh

I just do not want to be reading something near the end of the series where one or more of the other girls decide to make their intentions known to Bell by performing Yobai (night crawling). If you do not know what I am referring to please DO NOT look it up. I do not want anyone getting any ideas.

It is old custom that I do not think is practiced in Japan anymore but it has been referenced in some anime by way of a misunderstanding leading to a female character think that was what the male character was attempting.

Kevhunt06 I took all that into account, and I did indeed have that in mind, but for all that, I do favor Haruhime than the other's since above all else, Haruhime and Bell seem to the best match in term's of personality

Ais does have a reason to act the way she did, but to be honest, when Bell was defending a monster that was kind enough to save a child, she should have trusted Bell, not just think it was okay to attack him to kill a monster, I mean, nothing in life is black and white, and Ais was indeed looking at it like that, personally, I just don't like character's like Ais's that are usually the one's who end up getting people needlessly killed

Ryuu is someone who need's to change a little to make her feeling's more heard before I can change my mind

Lily may have had a tough life, and it definitely got better with Bell, but I still cannot get over the fact she constantly tries to stop Bell from helping other's when it could be to risky when that was the same thing that saved her, I mean, logically speaking, should you save a thief who steal's and uses you in hopes they learn the error of their way's and change their life, or should you have them killed to get your stuff back and make sure they don't steal from you again, which sound's more logical, and which sound's more morally acceptable

I did take the god's POV with Freya, and while she is indeed someone who went through great length's for Bell, if she confronted him before she did all that to him, then I would think she's indirectly helping him, so long as she was ready to stop it when it could go badly for Bell, like is Ottar was close by to stop the Minotaur from killing Bell unknown to Bell, she would then be more acceptable in a sense of "pushing you a little", but her lust for him is that of a stalker more like in my eyes

Hestia is similar, but I stand by my words as is more a mother for Bell since he's in her familia and should accept the fact Bell see's her as family and nothing more

I'm not sure if you agree or disagree with Lefiya when I said what I said about her, and I'm not like many and say Lefiya is bad all around, I actually really like her and her character, it's just she need's to ask the important question's and listen before making accusation's that lead to misunderstandings

I'm just saying my opinion, so their is a little Bias in it, but I stand by my words and reasoning's, I'm not saying any of them are bad, aside from Ais, per say, I'm just making a argument based off my knowledge of the series so far from the manga and anime best I can, as well as their character traits and personalities as far as we seen so far, Ais is changing, but not where I'd like her personally, and call me wrong, that's fine, but I'm just saying what I believe so far from MY understanding of them all
