There is more to it than just his soul I believe…

Freya at least from what I understand doesn’t pursue people she wants desperately to this extent that she has gone for Bell.

Obviously soul is a big part of it but I also think it is because of Bells actual character itself. There was a scene were Freya told Ottar (early volumes) “if you would make me laugh once an awhile, I wouldn’t be so bored all the time…”

You see what she actually meant in volume 17 a little when she was around Bell. Even though Bell isn’t trying to be funny he just gets overwhelmed and embarrassed easily but he makes Freya laugh (A LOT) with the way he reacts to things. Multiple times Bell made Freya laugh to the point of tears coming out of her eyes. One of her favorite things he did was when he touched her skin and she let out a big gasp (this was due to her actually feeling like an innocent woman again even though she said she hasn’t been innocent for a long time) Bell yelled to the top of his lungs that he was sorry and ran out of her room. She busted out laughing with tears rolling down her face saying that not once has she ever had someone run from her in her room at night. There was also the time during that volume that Ottar brought Bell to her room and she said to come in (Ottar said it sounded like genuine excitement from Freya and anticipation) Ottar saw her and realized that she was actually extremely happy that Bell was here. He said that if he actually asked Freya if she was happy about Bell being here that she would say that she doesn’t really think anything of it but Ottar said he would know……that she lied and that she was super excited to see Bell (but still wouldn’t call her out on it since it would be very rude).

As we have seen from her familia members, they are so serious and worship her to the point that they bow to her and kneel before her. But Bell is such a different change of pace for Freya that she loves how much excitement Bell actually brings her. He isn’t so serious like her familia members and kind of treats her normally but this also could be due to the fact that her body can’t allure Bell like other people do. Bell can come off normal since he isn’t affected by her charm or alluring body (one of the reasons why she wears robes out in public).

I got some of this from fan translation and when you actually get to view volume 17 for yourself……I can tell you one thing……Freya genuinely loves Bell to the point where you kind of forget that she loves his soul at all really.

I see with that explanation but now the deity is risking not only staining his soul but destroy what he is inside.

Bell could be lost forever to her if she keeps this path, and can she withstand being hated forever.

The issue of being hated will be temporary but if she harms Ais the boy will never forgive the woman to the point of not allowing his soul to be seen by her.

See but you have to remember that Freya’s logic is that all she has to do is get rid of Liaris Freese and than use her charm to replace Ais with herself in those memories that Bell shared with Ais. Bell would no longer have Liaris Freese anymore but Freya doesn’t care because all she wants is Bell himself.

She said, “Im sorry Bell” to herself saying that as long as she wants him she won’t stop. She said that she is going to keep on hurting him more and more until he does break but said she didn’t care how long it takes. If she has to, she will spend the next several years putting Bell back together (most likely using charm since Liaris Freese would be gone). She knows that Bells soul and his character are going to take massive damage but she said she will be the one that he leans on in his time of need and will comfort him every step of the way.

Is that healthy? HELL NO! But Freya does still think about Bells feelings but she knows that as long as she still wants him she will have to keep breaking him until he submits to her. She could have easily broken Bell and his soul and character than said, “how boring” and threw Bell away (spitting him out after chewing on him for awhile). She has resigned herself to being the person that will be with Bell every step of the way until he is back to normal and only loves her (not Ais).

I just love this arc so much and just how complex Freya is! Bell and Ais moment was so awesome after having their love tested for each other. Freya showing just how deeply in love she is with Bell and willing to do such time consuming stuff to make sure Bell is in love with her.

I think personally that Bell’s love to Ais will not be overcome.

Freya will have to kill Ais before this, and I personally would ask for Bell to break the taboo in killing a deity.

There is a certain Thunder God that will throw a wrench in her plan.

It seems like Freya is willing to lose everything, her fame, her fortune, even all of her familia simply to get Bell, I feel that's what she's going to do, she may even use her divine power to kill Bell to get his soul if she has to

If that happens, what will the aftermath be if Bell survives somehow and how will the Freya familia react
