Having read the synopsis for volume 17, I am left wonder what exactly saving Freya actually means in terms of the story.
I believe that Bell said that he would save her if his side won the war game so does that mean that Syr is coming back in some capacity or do you think that it means that Freya will start acting more like she did when she was Syr?
I am very curious what Bell "saving" her could possibly lead to in the story. If you have any thoughts then comment below.
From what I've seen, Freya wants to become Syr once and for all. Syr is apparently Freya without her "make up".
Following the Fulland tale, Freya is going to save Bell from a monster. My theory is that the two of them will be in the Dungeon, where Freya can actually die, send a monster after him, like she did in vol 1, but finally changing her mind and attempting to save him, almost getting killed, and Bell saving her. And then we have Bell conforting a crying Syr in his arms.
Well I do not know.
I believe that Freya's family will lose, Freya will demand from Hedin to move them and Bell to the rough floors, they will be near Asterius, they will tear apart, Bella will almost be killed, Freya will try to save him and there are two ramifications: Either she will be killed, or Bell will save her. In the second case, she will do this: with her family, she will behave like a Goddess, and with Bella, even in her appearance, she will be like a Sire. Perhaps he will even try to return to the "Mistress of Fertility". And will be one of the dangerous contenders Aiz, on the heart of Bell)))
I think you are right in the money the Arc implies that Bell’s fate is on the line but to me is more on Freya herself.
The Author of DanMachi left a big clue saying that he will save many ladies in different ways, and for different reasons.
This was mentioned in the epilogue after he saved Ryuu so this applies to Freya as well.
