To no one's surprise Will easily defeats the big bad of this arc
I really don't understand power scaling in this series, it feels like the MC's just turned into a gary stu at this point. The main enemy is supposed to be something that has killed even Magia Vende and even the lesser ones caused the mages and the Dwarves to struggle and yet they're still nothing to him. If the MC can imbue himself with magic then why didn't he do so earlier? (Edit: He does use it once to instakill the enemy during the dungeon arc without Argonaut so before that). Despite his flaws I'm glad that Bell has to claw his way up the ladder instead of being like Will and his deus ex machina
Will's sword breaks at the end of last chapter because it couldn't hold his power so you'd think he'd struggle a little but nope, Elfaria immediately imbues him with her ice and he just stomps. Will is somehow able to ignore the enemy's magic cancelling because of "the fifth element" which Oomori pulls out of nowhere with zero foreshadowing. The enemies do a last ditch attack by summoning 20+ of the lesser ones but the MC basically instakills all of them (Not to mention he has the usual scene where the people watching have their moment of shock)
Shounen manga are all about the MC and allies struggling against enemies and overcoming them, not curb stomping them like Will does. There's a reason why manga like One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, etc are incredibly popular and compare that with this manga
