That is not how his arm is "now". That picture is from how his arm was in SO LN 12 (between LN 14 and LN 15). At the beginning of LN 15 he got a medical cast because of what he did in SO LN 12, and then about 2/3 of the way through LN 15 had it removed after his arm had recovered.
