During Danmemo Fes, Oomori in a letter gave a comment about Vol 18 which said “Ottar can’t be beaten at all”.

And? It's obvious that the usual plot magic will happen and he'll be beaten. If Ottar "can't be beaten" then Oomori might as well have the OEBD kill the main characters

So, either there will be massive plot abuse or if Oomori actually follows through on what he said talk-no-jutsu. Not great options.

Lol, I have now. Good god that's lazy. Would it really kill them to put the time and effort into have original character designs? I know gacha games are shameless exploitations of fans, but come on!

This isn't really a gacha thing but rather an Oomori thing. I think at this point he's seriously going to have the main cast be reincarnations and I hate it so much. I feel like it really cheapens the characters and it's really disappointing considering I actually like Fianna's design compared to Lili's "too poor for clothes" look

Well this was fairly obvious ever since the stuff with Finn and Lyra in Astrea Record. If Omori goes the route the PV indicated with the Finn character then I'll be interested to see it.
