Yo!
Can You tell me why Aiz surname is Wallenstein when her father`s surname was Waldstein?

Not even a translation issue. It's implied it was altered slightly to camouflage her identity so that people wouldn't immediately make a connection.
There is no explanation given, either implied our explicity given.
Translation issue isn't solid, because she went with Riveria, who can perfectly read hierogyphs. If Ais wanted her last name written as Waldstein Riveria could have made sure of it.
Basically no one knows Albert's last name in the current era. Bell is the only one and when he was looking through books he noted none included Albert's last name, noting the one Zeus wrote himself as the only one where it was mentioned. If they wanted to hide their connection it would be better if they used another last name or altogether remove it and leave her name as just Ais. So it isn't good enough either.
Perfectly ? I'm not sure, no one is safe from a mistake, especially when it's a small one (japanese are bad at differenciting L & R so it can be something similiar). Beside the Ais of this era was focused solely on killing monsters to the point that she had to be reminded to equip herself before entering the Dungeon, she couldn't careless about her name.
She couldn't care less, but the leadership of LF could.
Hmm.. Not sure about those "Era" things, but if Aiz is still teenager so her father must be alife at least ninteen year "ago" otherwise Aiz would not exist..And 19 years its not that long. Riveria and Garreth must know them very well, and I cant imagine that noone will remember surname of one of most powerfull heroes last two decades..?
Ais father died fighting OEBD a thousand years ago.
Errrmmm... So.. How actually old Aiz is?
Edit
Ok.. Just read a bit Albert`s Trivia and found this:
"Albert's name is most likely derived from Albrecht Wallenstein, who was also known by the surname Waldstein. In addition, both have Eusebius as a part of their name."
And after click on wiki page found more info so its look just about right.
But now here is new question about chronology:
IF Aiz is teenager and her father died thousand years ago then there is three options:
Aiz lie about her age ( typicall for elder women.. :)
Invitro and Cryopreservation was well known in Orario for thousands years.
Chronology is a bit ducked.. :D
Edit 2.
Im preety sure that chronology is wrong, looking on history of Gareth Landrock..
What I found in his "history" here in danwiki :
"Fifteen years ago he served as a supporter for the Zeus and Hera Familias in the battle against the Behemoth"
And behemoth was slayed before fight with one eyed dragon so it couldnt be "thousand year story" ..
Ofcourse if infos in characters history here are right..
I guess it is a bit complicated if you just got into the serie, so I'll explain:
No, the timeline isn't wrong. Oomori (the author) delibaretely made it a mistery how does Ais arrived to the current era when she was born over a thousand years ago. Part of the grace of Ais' character is being a mistery. Besides her presence in the current era there's also the fact she is the daughter of a Spirit, a race incapacle of having descendants.
The OEBD wasn't fought only 15 years ago. That is when the Zeus and Hera Familias fought it, but they aren't the only ones that did so. A thousand years ago Albert fought the Black Dragon and took its eye in exchange for its life, hence why it is now known as the One-Eyed Black Dragon. His death is in fact what marked the end of the Ancient Times, as shortly after his sacrifice the Gods started to descend from Heaven. It is what he is famous for, and everyone in-story knows that much.
Ais isn't lying about her age. In SO9 we are shown when she joined Loki Familia nine years ago as a 7 year old little girl. Everyone in Orario got to know her precisely as the eight-year-old Level 2 girl who hit Level 2 in a year.
There is no given explanation to how she arrived to the current era, and you are far from the first one to suggest she was frozen. Ultimately your guess as bad as anyone else's, because there are just no clues.
Oomori already said he decided to leave the reveals about Ais for the main serie, so we ain't getting anything in any spin offs. And given his style, he isn't going to give any clues until Ais' own arc. So we got a long way to go before getting any semblance of an answer. Much more with how long are volumes taking to be released.
Ugghhh..
So its looks like we will get some infos when the next "Star wars - Battle of Orario" episode will be released..
Wouldnt be surprised if we find that she is transgender son of Luke and Chewbacca frozen for centuries in carbonite ;)
The fuck is this?
What do you think?
