Can anyone explain magic to me?

What does the magic status s or ss mean?

I've been thinking lately that Bell would have the same magic level as a mage, of the same level.

But of course he doesn't have the same power.

An example is Riveria. Using Rea Laevateinn at level 1, with 0 magic stats.

And Bell at level 1 with status S doesn't have the same power.

I think magic is divided into 3 phases.

1- Magic consumption.

2- Magic power.

3- Amount of magic

And the amount that is being increased is different.

For example, another mage, Lefiya, is different from the protagonist. If Bell increases his magic level to s, perhaps his power compared to Lefiya would be 100 points.

Don't tell me it's because of the mage H or E ability. Because even if that increased 1 level, the power has no comparison.

I really wanted Bell's fire bolt to be at the same level as the mages because the stats are the same.

The only thing I can think of is that they made a mistake in the magic description.
