So there was around 10 days between the Elegia chapter and the one before it in Vol 15, and Episode Haruhime will take place during this. It will take place in the Far East and Haruhime’s fan type weapon was made there.

Haruhime’s new weapon was revealed in Vol 18 limited edition data sheet but there was no info about the weapon at all in the volume. Now we know it was to prevent spoilers on Episode Haruhime. Omori wanted to finish writing the volume before S5 anime aired so I’m guessing we will see Haruhime’s fan weapon in the anime.

Since Omori already leaked some info about this volume it will probably be the next one to be released after DM20 and SO15.

This may not mean anything but in Danchro Haruhime also uses a fan when attacking, it produce a wind-elemental magical attack. So it's probaby a magic item producing chantless magic similar to Fels Magic Eater or Welf Unbreakable Magic Sword.

I don't think the distance is such a big issue, Ryuu was able to make the travel to Solingen who is also located in the Far East of Orario take a week to bond with the new members of Astrea Familia, level up twice, fix the desync twice, train with spirits & make her new equipement before returning for the War Game all in less in less than 2 weeks.

Omori would only have to provide a means of locomotion with speed equal to a 2nd Tier adventurers to make it work.
