The 1000+ can define the supposed "massive gap" by even a single level, someone a while back (a member of Danmachi reddit) calculated it to be at around 500+ for a more reasonable level gap.

I've always gone off the 1000+ level bonus estimate for calculating Bell's current stats, like when comparing to Aiz (the missing wargame status updates makes accuracy difficult) in order to gain accuracy of his current prowess. Regardless, and estimate is not a confirmation of what the level boost actually gives.

A prime example of Bell soloing someone above his level (despite the level gap) is Hyakinthos. Even with the training with Aiz and Tiona, it wouldn't explain as to why he was able to win, but then if you look at Hyakinthos' stats you can clearly see that they were roughly matched.

Since Hyakinthos level 3 stats is about all we have to gone on, we can estimate his final stats for his previous levels. To shorten it, he probably didn't max out all his stats in his prior levels, and he could have been around 500+ to 600+ short of 999 (stacked 3 times would give him a 1500+ stat disadvantage) in almost all stat areas especially his magic, with agility and dexterity being his strongest areas because he is a swordsman. Although agility is Bell's forte, he still should have been slower than Hyakinthos, but because he had the quality of life of the other stats like strength for heavy-hitting, endurance for tankiness and his Argonaut + Firebolt combo, he was roughly matched with him.

Adventurers who are above Bell and that haven't maxed their stats give Bell an advantage and closes the stat gap. For example, Bell easily beats Aiz in terms of both strength and endurance (she's pretty weak and isn't tanky) and once Bell achieves high level 5 status, his base speed will greatly exceed her own to the point that only Ariel can match it and of course she would lose to a fresh level 6 Bell.

Bells stats at this point as a level 5 including all his previous stats make him as a low level 5 able to contend and beat early level 6s I don’t buy the whole inexperienced and skill thing bell has a quick learning curve and at this point in the novel even as a level 5 is is stat checking most 6s outright I’d say he would still lose to the lvl 6 executives but if he continues training with Ais and the freya famila I think he will begin winning some of those skirmishes he just needs to refine his technique this is as a lvl 5 once he hits 6 I don’t think anyone can beat bell except ottar his stats at that point will dwarf all the other lvl 6 to the point his technique and inexperience will be negligible just based off his raw juice

I don’t think Bell will reach lv7 though there isn’t enough allotted time to make it happen.

Lv 6 is the max I think he will reach if the boy is lucky to make it happen.

high level 4 Bell was losing to Van sometimes. He is weaker than Tsubaki right now, let alone any level 6. And fresh level 6 Bell won't be the strongest after Ottar, obviously.

Bell's growth rate isn't really linear, it's more proportional to the ordeal he went through, there are even times when Bell level up or gets the to level up requirement sooner than at previous level so as long Hestia learned her lesson about postponing a rank, Bell reaching Level 7 is still possible plus now he has the Ryuu skill Booster.

The statment about Tsubaki was made at the beginning of the War Game, Many status update has past since them so I am not so sure she is still stronger than Bell. Also Van is from FF so is strenght is far above a normal high level 4.

Bell got a lot within one update, however nothing drastic. I don't remember the exact numbers, but at the beginning of the wargame his stats were in the 100 range and at the end around 200-300, right? it's not that much. he needs to reach at least D for the verdict to even warrant reconsideration. and just because Van is the strongest level 4 doesn't mean he's not level 4. even if he's the best you can imagine from a current generation second-rate adventurer, he's still, well, not too special against the first-rate ones. If a high level 4 Van can fight a high level 4 Bell 50/50, then a high level 5 Tsubaki has a clear advantage over a low level 5 Bell. don't need to remind that she's a blacksmith, since her skills were explicitly stated as matching first class, and she wasn't even inferior to a pre-update Loki elite, and was capable of defeating a weak level 5 being level 4. if magic swords come into play, it even stops being a "question with an obvious answer" and becomes a "no question".

Except for his agility at I 77 all Bell Pre-War Game stats were below 50 (it's really ugly when you train under Level Boost), After Hestia update he got an increase of 1006 point (around half the stats increase Bell got to fight Hyakintos who before that was literally a Full Level above Bell) & he got another update by the time of MS19 Chapter 2.

You know Alise was also a Level 4 but it didn't change the fact she can fight on par with a Level 5. The number of people with ability putting them above their current level has only increase the further the story progress.

Also It's never stated that Van vs Bell was a 50/50 (it wasn'ts even Bell final Level 4 stat) neither their condiction at the start of the fight, additionnally it was never stated how much Tsubaki is stronger than Bell (a 1 point stronger still techically mean she is stronger even if their fight would be relativly equal) beside didn't the High Level 6 Tsubaki get her ass kick by Hogni pretty easely ? It's clear that whatever are Loki Familia adventurer norme for combat ability by level it's far inferior the norme of Freya Familia adventurer. It's even Worst Omori confirmed a newbie Kaguya would be a stronger combattant than Tsubakithe High Level 5, I will not counte the spirit soldier necause it's mentionned their weren't as good as real first-class adventurers, for obvious reason it's more easy fighting a irrational bestthan fighting a Warrior that point as being repeatedly hammered since MS 6 (even Bell can use his 4 months of technic to compensate the raw ability gap between him & Juggy).

The number looks significant because you've added all the numbers together, but the actual effect of these updates is much lower. Endurance won't help against slashing weapons, and the usefulness of Dexterity has never even been proven, so that leaves only Strength, Agility and partially Magic.

LN saya "sometimes winning, sometimes losing" so I don't know what it is if it's not 50/50. Even if Bell was a more frequent winner, it's really just a headcanon since it's not stated or implied. I agree that Bell with final level 4 status would have won 9 or 10 times out of 10, however that doesn't negate Van's feat.

What does Hogni have to do with this? The original Tsubaki is only level 5, and even if she's close to leveling up, her combat skills are at best the same as the new level 6. Hogni is stated to be competing with Ottar for 1st or 2nd place in terms of melee combat. Ottar's combat skills are close to the new level 8. This makes the difference in combat skills 2 levels. Using a strong level 6 with such mastery to compare to a pseudo level 6 is a bad example.

Kaguya would be stronger, but that doesn't negate Tsubaki's merit in any way. Kaguya is known for being able to defeat a level 4 being a level 3 with the support of a level 2 prum. Her techniques directly take her to the next level of threat. Being weaker than her is no disgrace.

They are stated to retain some of their techniques, and have animal instincts, regeneration, and instant magic, and on top of that a level 5 status. much more than what the current Raul would offer. yet Tsubaki won, even without the OP skills and magic. she is far, far above average just with her fighting prowess.

If Bell does reach lv6 who can he beat.

I don't know where you get that the combat ability per level of the Loki family is much lower than that of the Freya family.

Let's start with the fact that for level 4 we know from Omori himself that this is false, some time ago he published a ranking with the strongest level 4s and in it were Anakitty and Raul, on the other hand there was absolutely no one from the Freya family. It is clear then that they do not have the most powerful level 4s.

As for level 6s, perhaps you missed that the Loki trio is already level 7 while Freya's is still at level 6, which means that Loki's have had more and better challenges, which translates into more experience and therefore more prowess, leaving their rivals behind. It is not an abysmal difference at the moment but clearly Freya's are losing in quality.

Comparing them directly to those who are still level 6, well this is more speculative but did you see that Bete after fighting Allen and Tiona with Hogni ended up in a hospital bed? No, they were left wanting to settle the score in the war game. Who gets beaten up and wants to go get another one? If they were so eager to continue the fight it's because they didn't feel unable to win.

I know that in volume 18 it was said that Freya's adventurers were above others of the same level, but they forgot to clarify that they are referring to other ordinary adventurers like most of those who fought in the war game, not the Loki family.
