From the very beginning of the story, Raul is presented to us as a typical loser. He is a whiner, a coward and a weakling, without a male iron core, with low self-esteem. And he is generally afraid to do anything with women.
In addition, he is only level four, although he joined the Loki Familia only a year later than Ais. He was already 13 years old, a fairly conscious age, and he came to Orario with ambitions, and he himself came from a rural area where life is not so easy, and as a cherry on the cake, Loki herself chose him, that is, there was something in him.
But having received Falna, he had neither magic nor skills. Okay, I can understand that, he didn't have a strong enough desire, but I can't believe that a person who had to go through many hardships, starting with his native village (and life there was clearly not sugar) and the Dark Ages of Orario and ending with numerous expeditions, where he clearly had to look death in the face many times, did not receive a single skill or magic. The same Liliruka, who is considered untalented, received both a skill and magic. The same with such characters as Daphne, Cassandra, Aisha and many others.
So what should Raul Nord be like, the young man who is promised leadership in the Loki Familia?
Let his personality traits at the beginning of the story not change much, compared to the original, but he will already have several stories with women (both positive and negative), but at the same time he is not a womanizer. And from the very beginning of the story we see how his relationship with Aki changes, from comrades who have known each other since their teens, to full-fledged partners. Later they get married of course, and there is no need for any harems, especially not such "pseudo-harems" as Bell's. As a leader, he is still not ideal, but he is respected and taken seriously.
I would prefer that he also had a level 5, just that his stats were lower than Ais and the others. After defeating the half-spirit, he, like Lefiya, could have increased his level, but he decided to make his stats higher, but they would not exceed level B. This will show that although he is good, he is not powerful.
It would be logical for him to have a skill that strengthens his Familia members, but it would not be something OP, everything is within reason.
He should also have a skill that helps him command, like Finn. It is strange that Liliruka has such a skill, but not him.
Well, since his last name is Nord, it would be nice to give him a skill that increases his resistance to the ice element, as well as increases the power of his own attacks inflicted by it.
As for magic, this is an ice barrier or domain spell. It will support his allies, and it can also be used for crowd control. Well, and optionally dispel in the form of an ice stream, maybe even like liquid nitrogen, which will cause damage over a wide area, to enemies around him.
Well, as the story progresses, it would be nice to give him a grimoire, say from Fels, after reading which he will receive ice enchantment magic. It will envelop him in an icy aura that will protect him while simultaneously causing damage to his enemies. He will also be able to envelop a weapon in the ice element. This magic will also have a couple of additional actions. But nothing OP, this magic is not very powerful, it does not make him much stronger or faster. It just expands the range of his capabilities. This magic is the crystallization of his desire to be on the same level as his idol, Finn.
Well, regarding his development skills, instead of Escape, he will have Chain Attack, for level 5 he will get Magic Resistance, and for level 6 he will get either Mage, which will make him much stronger, or Swordsman (although I would prefer that he had a swordsman through the skill, like Finn).
Will all this make him an OP character (of which there are so many in the story) - no. He will simply become stronger, and his development will be more enjoyable to watch. He is not some super powerful hero, but simply a strong and capable, versatile adventurer. In this regard, he will become more like Lefiya, who was so nice to read about from the very beginning.
And what do you think about Raul and how the author has been treating him for so many years? I would be pleased to read a volume specially allocated for him, like Bete and the Twins.
