Anya's story seems tragic but the jist of it is that she was along and tried to do more than she was capable of and someone got hurt because of it. someone she cared about. Is that really deep character building cause seems generic to me. or am i missing something here?

I was wondering if she was in the Freya famillia.
If she was, and since the description of Allen alias mention Freya's chariot, maybe she in a duet with her brother : their aliases look the same since start they with Vana, moreover Freya's chariot is supossed to be by pulled by two cats and they're cat people so if Allen is one maybe she used to be the second one. In this way the chariot represente their duet.
Further more this could explain why allen and her cut ties : they was in a duet but Anya leave to go with Mya, but Allen fellings are hurt so he cuts ties ...
