DanMachi Light Novel Volume 16

Finished it and... dear god. I'm actually starting to fear reading vol 17. The author just went full Syr, and literally just threw everything about her on the pages. The monologues, especially, knowing what was happening I was: holy shit, this is a whole other level.

This is what I got from this vol: Freya (or Syr, whatever you prefer) wants to have as much fun as possible but have someone by her side that can always protect her if things get dangerous, and have that fun with that person. From what I'm seeing, her familia is fucking toxic. She gets protection from them, but nothing else. Even her love for them grows cold. Then she met Bell, had pretty much everything she ever asked for, and got turned down. Seriously, no wonder she lost her mind.

More and more I believe that BellXSyr will happen in Tenkai. Because, I mean, if it doesn't Oomori is prettty much telling her to "fuck off and suffer alone".

And honestly, Freya, you really should just stop going after every child you see if they are suffocating by now.

For me I literally want Bell's home to blow up, kill some members, get the Xenos back to the surface, the whole city to blow up because of the battle etc, but its called the "Biggest Bombs in the series" so i also expect bigger revelations. Also this selfish vs selfish, we can somehow conclude that the first selfish one is Freya, but the second one? I want to think its Hestia but she is powerless compared to Freya tbh plus its called a "tug of war" and you can't really call it "VS"...... Who will be on Bell's side? who will help him? Only the Loki familia can do it maybe but heck, even Finn's too scared to help Bell during the encounter vs Apollo familia (maybe he has changed though because of the recent SO volumes). Plus whats this "something else"? Does Freya want bell for "something else"? Does Hestia want Bell for "something else"?(probably not). Is Bell really worth for this Blood and Tears tug of war? Who will Bell choose? Will Bell even have a choice? Please blow my mind Oomori-Sensei!
