How would the story upto volume 18 of MS and 12 of SO change if Gareth did level up to level 7 after his victory over demi spirit? Author did mention it himself that gareth should have leveled up somewhere right?

Alright, so we know Level 6 adventurers are absurdly strong. My favorite example is Gareth when he took the tail of the dragon and swung it around like a lead ball on the end of some string. That dragon had to have weighed at least 2 tons but he swung it like it was nothing.

My question is how do other universes compare to danmachi. I'm trying to write some stories but I can't get the characters at a level where they don't one-shot everything or get one-shot by everything.

I would love another opinion. use any universe you want to compare against danmachi.

Like the topic said, if Loki had to level up one of them which do you think she would choose?

I honestly think that Gareth might be the one that she levels up to level 7. From a stats and abilities point of view he might be the best choice if Loki had to level one of them up.

His strength and endurance are almost maxed out and his skills only increase those stats even further. He seems pretty solid with his attack and defense.
