Hey, sorry if this has been asked before or if there's some Canon answer that I've just not been able to find, but I wanted to ask:

Is there a limit to how high Bell's Basic Ability stats can grow?

We've seen them grow as high as 1501 before, but is there an actual limit?

Has Omori tweeted or said anything about Basic Abilities having a true limit/ceiling that even Bell can't break through?

Will we eventually see Bell with stats in the 1600s? 1800s? 2000+?

I'm just curious about any official answer that may exist somewhere that I haven't found.

I figure that even Bell has to have some kind of limit somewhere, right? He's not meant to be some Mega-OP MC like Ainz from Overlord, or Rimuru from Slime, or the hundreds of other MC's that can end their worlds if they felt like it.

Any help finding an answer is greatly appreciated! I'm not usually able to keep up with all of Omori's tweets, so perhaps the answer lies in one of them and I've just never found it?

Could it be that the Basic Abilities are superimposed as if on top of the body, but the increase in Level improves/strengthens the body itself?

So as the level increases, the Basic Abilities, due to the improvement of the base (body), begin to have a stronger effect on the strength of the individual.

So 100 points for level 1 will add less than 100 points for level 2. So the Bonus appears because when you level up all of your accumulated stats dramatically start to affect your powers more strongly.

Hello, I wanted to show my calculations and guesses on the Level Up Bonus.

I use this formula:

LvBonus = 1000 + ((LV - 1) * 100)

Thus, even Stats with a value of I 0 will increase with Level. For example, if you learn Magic at level 4, I don't think its power will be the same as Magic at level 1.

I took the value of 1000 because it is the Bonus that should form the gap between levels. Thus, no matter how hard you try, you will never be stronger than those above you in level.

Lv0: Jump (40~60cm|60~70cm)

Lv2: Two-Storey Jump (~7,5m)

D 500 ~ B 799 (Average ~650)

Lv1 = 0 → 650

↓ +1000

Lv2 = 1650 (0) → 2150 (500)

Lv0 Str: 0 = Jump 60см

Lv2 Str: 2150 = Jump 7,5м

Is there any information about the bonus for Level Up?

Does the total (that is, including hidden values for previous levels) or the current (only current values) power of Basic Abilities increase?

And how much do the Basic Abilities increase?

what exactly is the limit of a container and how does it work?

As a pathfinder player I could not help but compare the levels systems and power between the two so I thought it would be intresting to see you guys thoughts about it.

In pathfinder and dnd as far as I know the higest level for wich clear rules are writen would probebly be is level 20. Att this level wizards can can for example: stop time, fling swarms of meteors. Just like level 20 priests can cause storms of acid lightning and heal. bring back firtualy anyone back from the dead (remains not needed). I mostly bring up magic because i find it hard to comparre phisical strenght in this senario

Where as in DanMachi the highest level we know is alive is ottar (level 7) know i know that event previus to the stard of the story got rid of all the highest level adventures. And I saw some things about a level 8 and 9 adventures on the wiki. So I would gues that the highest level acheiveble would be level 10.

Differences between systems is that in Dnd/pathfinder you already have your strenghts and weakneses defind in the six stats rated most often between 3-20 when that humanoid is born

These change little in the game and instead you simply become better in a certain class wich gives you bonusus for diferent classes and what level you are in that class.

Another point is that magic works different because you can only have 3 diferent spells in Danmachi (with riveria and lefiya get around with skills) where as in pathfinder and dnd most spellcaster are capeble of casting att least 8 different spels already from level 1. With mages att their highes level gaining over a 100 different spells as they level up and learn new ones.

Since level 20 is like the highest level where normal rules aply in pathfinder and

Level 10 is probebly the highest in danmachi. if whe were to say they are roughly even. Wich means that a rough conversion would mean that you simply devide the DnD/pathfinder level by two to get roughly a being of the same power.

However this is where fells comes in

In Pathfinder fells would be classified as a lich. and liches are to be considerd to be atleast level 12 or higher. And the spell he uses to bring back weine to life is either a level 5 priest spell (learnable att level 9) called Raise Dead that bring someone back to life wich would take a 2 pathfinderlevels of power away from weine or a resurection a level 7 priest spell (learnable att level 13).

however these are spells way to powerfull for a level 4 if the divide by two is correct. this got me thinking along the thought of maybe the falna system from danmachi is allows for less versitillity and more power to better suit venturing in the dungoen where as pathfinder the levels (falna from pathfinder/dnd world) is more focust on problem solving. this is why almost every mage in pathfinder and dnd can get their hands on spells like shapechache to alter your apearans or teleportation spells to get from one place to another.

A thought that came to mind was how great Danmachi's level up system worked, it's a completely independent and accurate way to tell one's strength (mostly) for the adventurer in question with many different abilities, power leveling, and skill's that make it where no 2 Falna will be the same

My question is, can it be used in other fantasy element's but made differently with different abilities, status, and power scaling

Clearly Freya and Ishtar's Charm isn't merely the effects of being objectively beautiful (by the standards of Orario), or else Bell's Liaris Freese wouldn't cancel it out -- unless, for some unexplained reason, having a certain ability can change your personal standards in beauty. But if that were true, then why is he so taken by Ais's beauty when these goddesses Charm is canceled out? If these goddesses were truly just so beautiful that even some gods couldn't help but fall under their influence, then why does Bell seem unaffected by that beauty despite being continually flummoxed by the looks of a human girl?

Furthermore, their Charm seems to be activated on-command, as not everyone who comes into contact with Freya or Ishtar falls immediately under their thrall. To me, this function is strikingly akin to a skill or to magic -- both of which require Falna, and as I've recently seen mentioned by others on this Fandom, gods do not possess Falna.

Is it Arcanum then, and because of the circumstances surrounding them when these goddesses use charm (i.e.: not being near other gods except, notably, one another) they just manage to get away with it? Or perhaps it's some unique aspect of the Divinity of gods/goddesses of beauty that only takes effect when they stop suppressing their Divinity -- and if so, would that mean that attempting to Charm someone while in the dungeon (or elsewhere, when near a monster) would send nearby monsters into a rampage, and would it not also make gods of beauty inherently more powerful than other gods to have a Divinity that could control even their own fellow divine beings? Would that not sort of eliminate any need to restrain their behavior in the Lower World, since they could always Charm their way out of a jam? Could it be possible, instead, that gods have access to some form of non-elf magic based neither in Arcanum nor Falna? After all, if the elves can work out how to circumvent the need for Falna, could the almighty gods not also find some alternative way to do so?

I'm curious as to what everyone thinks about this subject. Personally, I think the specifics of Charm's mechanics could provide precedent for the more recent uses of godly magic-like abilities *wink wink nudge nudge*, but I doubt we'll ever really get an answer about it. Ultimately it just seems like a fun detail to theorycraft about, so craft away!

I think SS is 1000 to 1199, SSS is 1200 to 1499 & it ends at X, because it denotes forbidden in Japanese, at 1500 only! What do you think?!
