Also assuming bell will have to reach level 10 to defeat the oebd that would mean that in 30% ish of the story he would have to level up another 5 times. That's just dumb. I have said this before but Oomori needs to just let go of the in 1 year finish the story idea.
Where did oomori post that volume 16 is already 70% of the story?
I mean i would still prefer if Oomori let go of his stupid 'Bell has to stay 14' idea. But in absence of that sharing liaris freese will have to do. Maybe a new member with a skill similar to rein amur from rhapsodia. Instead of temporarily sharing status you share excelia gain. Though I am not sure that skill is canon.
What do you guys think should be done about adressing the skill/level gap problem in hestia familia? It has come to the point that I would not mind it if the other members would be able to 'lend' the realize phrase skill.
It is also not that farfetched actually. We have seen characters use others peoples magic why not skills as well?
At the very least i am glad they did not rush it like season 2. Also to be honest some of the fighting scenes are pretty crisp.
Yeah I'm sure it was probably a coincidence. It just made me think for a minute on whether it might be or not.
Let's assume for a moment that all of your dreams come true en everybody conveniently levels up to the right levels in the next year of the story or so... It would still feel forced as hell. The fact is that unless there is a decent timeskip or explanation for power ups, that the current level of orario's adventurers are just too low. Both level and experience wise. And that is on top of a powerstructure that already felt pretty forced to begin with.
I mean i expected that zeus and hera familia's went deeper then floor 59. I don't really mind that bit. It's just finding out about it... like this in some damn side event (That's not even part of any of the f*ng novels). It's just so frustrating. Also like i said there really was no need whatsoever to make these new level 7's that powerfull. Or is the level up to level 7 something special. Like you can only get certain cheat like skills on that level? It just seems entirely unnecessary.
This is pretty bad. I mean i understand trying to make hera and zeus familia special and such and making them stronger but there was really no need to have zald en alfia being 'super cheats'. They were already level 7 for crying out loud. Just make it that you need an entire raid team to defeat them or something. And oomori needs to quit it with making game events canon. I (personally) don't give a damn about danmemo. If he had spent all the time he wasted on that damn game writing the main volumes we would be at volume 20 by now.
Am i the only one who thinks that a 'genius' like finn should be able to see through such a cheap ploy. Any good rpg player knows that the bad guy is only dead when you see the body :-) .
Well we know that monsters can eat other monsters magic stones and become a advanced species maybe the black dragon did that for about a thousand years that would explain it's powers (partially). I mean revis only had a few months to eat magic stones and she went from level 6 to 7ish in power in that time.
As for the 2 level 7's i think it would have been more interesting if they had been cursed or weakened by fighting the black dragon. And sensing their time was at an end they wanted to leave one more lesson for the adventurers of orario. You know instead of her de her we have tiny ais power.
Well they might be able to defeat the 2 level 7's without plot convenience... might.
Also alice and revis really look eerily similar to each other. (I mean we already knew that but it's more reinforced now that we have pictures of both.) Seems like kind of a missed opportunity on the part of story writing.
This is getting out of hand, i thought this thread was supposed to be about a potential ova 3? Personally i like the idea of loke and hestia familia's living together for a short amount of time. Seems like good ova material to me, it would also finally make use of the size of hearth manor (even though i still want the remnants of zeus familia to move in in the main series). As for hestia, it would personally say she's not so bad and she's one of the better gods to join. Of course i am comparing her to some other female protagonists of other shows (who are far worse) so i might be biased.

Besides the shonen power level system has it's own problems. After you've seen the 50th supersaiyan transformation and i win because of the power of friendship you've kind of seen them all. ps i actually like shonen please don't kill me (´・ω・`).
You are too hung up on mikoto going back to takemikazuchi familia. Who cares? Wouldn't you rather see a fully powered hestia familia that has the same rank/status and number of members as loki and freya familia? Even if it takes 10 years or longer it wouldn't matter because they would all still look relatively young because of the effect falna has on aging. Also welf for example doesn't have to be level 6 or higher you know. His ultimate magic sword is already on the level of riveria's magic. 1-3+ levels will suffice for him for example.
I mean bell can just become the first level 10 in orario's history. Seems logical that the scale ends there with 10 being a nice round number and such. I'm more annoyed with the power disparity between all the character. I said it before but there really needs to be a timeskip (or several) so that welf and such can catch up to bell (i'll settle for level 4 at this point to be honest).
Bell has a habit of breaking everything he ownes (with the exception of the hestia knife). Seems like a bad idea to add a fragile spell stone to it.
I'm not too sure what you mean but i guess you are referring to the many monsters outside of orario. Which are offspring of original (aka being born in the dungeon examples).
Basically most monsters outside of orario have weakened considerably because they divided their magic stones everytime they 'had children'. As such the monster in the outside world are on average a lot weaker then the ones in the dungeon. As far as i know they aren't smaller then the ones in the dungeon though (i could be wrong about that).
And yes the leviathan and one eyed black dragon and such are original monster. They just escaped a long time ago.
btw they explain some of this stuff in quest x quest a small story included in volume 04 of the main series.
I liked this episode a hell of a lot more then the last few but it does beg the question. Why didn't they add just a few more fighting scenes to episode 4? They could have easily removed the whole hearth mansion introduction and added it to episode 5.
If i had to point out something episode 5 did exceptionally well it would have to be the character's facial animations (especially hestia's). It seems they went above and beyond to express her emotions. Hopefully they will keep up this trend and add some nice animations for haruhime and other characters too.
Honestly the only reason i can see for phyrne to really return to the story is if she snaps out of her fear and want revenge against freya familia. Then maybe maybe she'll join up or help hestia familia when they eventually fight freya familia. I don't think she'll return in oratoria or merge with a demis spirit. As has been mentioned before it would be better if it was some other person to do it.
