I've been working on a D&D er, rework I guess would be the best word for DanMachi. I've found that it's probably not good to compare the two directly since they are so different.
D&D and Pathfinder are western RPGs while DanMachi and indeed most Japanese anime/manga/light novels are JRPGs which usually follow different tropes. Also, RPGs and stories usually can't be compared because of the difference in audience, who you are making the story for.
D&D/Pathfinder are more grounded in reality of the human body, whereas DanMachi gets more whacky. The cap on ability scores is quite low for what they describe as opposed to DanMachi stats where a level 9/level 10 will be much stronger/faster/whatever just because of how good their body is.
Also, D&D is 90% caster focused and warriors boil down to 'walk at thing and hit it' while DanMachi also allows for warriors to do cool as hell things like jump through the air, kill enemies in one sword swipe, etc. I don't know much about Pathfinder unfortunately.
I'll leave it there, or I'll keep rambling on forever.

It's not very good (or finished) if I'm honest, but I'm proud of the work I put in.
