Just wondering if anyone is also watching Wistoria: Wand and Sword, another Omori title, and wonder how much he copied from Danmachi ... even names! Example:
They even LOOK alike!

@Dannyharamati - Just check out the "Terminology" page (see top menu, not the ones under the Terminology heading) if you need help with things like that....
Your answer would have been right at the top of the page:
Adventurer (冒険者 Bōkensha): Adventurers are people with statuses that explore the dungeon below Babel. Overall, adventurers are grouped into one of two different classes:
Low Class Adventurers (下級冒険者 Kakyū Bōkensha): Low Class Adventurers are Level 1 adventurers
High Class Adventurers (上級冒険者 Jōkyū Bōkensha): High Class Adventurers are Level 2+ adventurers
Starting at Level 2, adventurers can also be referred to by differently numbered classes:
Third Class Adventurers (三級冒険者 Sankyū Bōkensha): Third Class Adventurers are Level 2 adventurers
Second Class Adventurers (二級冒険者 Nikyū Bōkensha): Second Class Adventurers are Level 3-4 adventurers
First Class Adventurers (一級冒険者 Ikkyū Bōkensha): First Class Adventurers are Level 5+ adventurers
You got it Kev... the other job I had was hourly (when I was going to school) - and I believe I made more, because of the overtime. Now all the "overtime" is just freebee to them! I'm about ready to see if I can go back to my old job! LOL! I'd be able to hang out here more often like I used to!
Thanks Angelo - that's fine. Another guy and I were talking - and we were wondering what the LN actually said (considering it canon rather than the anime)
@Angelo Gabrini - I guess I should have asked - is that from the anime that you checked or the Japanese from the light novel? (sorry - been tired working 12 hour days for over a month now... next job, if they say "Salary" I'll say no thanks!)
Thanks @Angelo Gabrini ! Much appreciate it! I kind of thought that it could be either, but I guess Ryuu was really serious this time!
I was wondering if anyone here who knows Japanese could tell me which would be more accurate - or if either translation could be possible (I've done translation work between ancient languages and modern languages, so I know how "both" translations could be possible). What I would like to know which is more correct - or if both could be possible translations, especially if there is idiomatic usage that could imply either both/and or either/or for translation of this passage. In English, it seems to make a big difference, but maybe not in Japanese. Could make a difference in how Bell would interpret it.
@Yazmarohma - how about, Bell defeats Asterius, but does not kill him - instead, says some corny line like, "The best way to fully defeat an enemy is to make him your friend" then offer a chance for greater fights, for example against the OEBD. Because as you can see, Bell wants to save "everyone".
@Slayer268 I can understand where you are coming from, but it isn't just "strength" that allowed Bell to win - there was skill and training, that Hyakinthos thought he was better, and was too self-assured... resulting in his downfall.
@TheHurtlocker1998 I agree with Rigel here. Just an example of your misinformation:
I know why Ais doesn't have screen time but that is the author/editors fault and they have made no attempt to push Ais out there to fans on Danmemo or even a non-canon movie.
They have put some attempt at "putting Ais out there" on Danmemo. Of course, in the non-canon movie, she really didn't fit there either, so her not taking a prominent role was the right choice. But - you are ignoring the whole Sword Oratorio side story, which I believe is canon. She takes a prominent role. And when in the main story, she is a support for Bell (as in his training) - and the leaders of Loki Familia recognize the importance of her feelings for Bell (even if she has no clue about her feelings) and also his looking toward her. The reason I bring this up is that the biggest lie in propaganda that I've studied is not what is said (in propaganda, they quote truth/facts all the time), but what is ignored and not stated.
I don't think that way about Ais... but I will say that Riveria is my phone wallpaper. And probably coming back on my desktop wallpaper after I get tired of the current elf there.
"Who is Better" at what? Without knowing that, I'm going with Riveria and Ais...
I know I started with the question in the first place - but as an update, it looks like HiDive is the one to be streaming it....
Angelo is right that about half are stuck at level 1. Thinking of what the entertainment factor is - since each of the deities want their own to be highest - who can "make a demigod" may be the entertainment factor itself... I guess only the gods know for sure 😈
If you really want to get extensive about it - try reading the light novels to both the main and Sword Oratoria along with the respective manga.... I did that on the last reading. And to get the books in order - I used the Timeline here, because it shows when you should be reading which ones in what order... You can find the Timeline here:
https://danmachi.fandom.com/wiki/Timeline
Sorry for the wait! Been one hectic week at work (and still learning the ropes - getting busy!). @Kevhunt06 - you're absolutely right about Τάρταρος. The titans were sent there and so were several deities either sent there or threatened to be sent there. As for the death of the Greek gods, that was near impossible. Only god that I know that supposedly "died" was Πάν (Pan). According to the Greek historian, Plutarch, Pan was the only one to die (and the story behind that is kind of vague and maybe not reliable at all). Even if they were "killed" - at most that meant that they were "changed", such as Οὐρανός (Ouranos/Uranus) - castrated & torn to pieces (depending on the account), parts of him became the sea foam and parts of a mountain range, and his deity was confined to "the heavens" (the sky - "the first heavens"). Even the titan god Atlas - changed to stone, but considered a living mountain afterwards that still held up the sky. So, if you can't kill them - imprison them... thus one of the purposes of Tartarus. Hope this is helpful. Oh - and regarding the part of the Astrea Record - I do remember that was the case, the warning that the Dungeon would use their divine energy for itself, not to be released. I don't recall any "reincarnations" of any Greek/Roman deities. Those below full god status could be killed (although maybe difficult, too), off-hand can't think of reincarnations of them either.
@AP24 - Well, I can accept White Rabbit (still not as good as "Killer Rabbit" 😈) but since you're right that it will be in the 7th month for the next Denatus, which would mean one more Denatus after that for his final naming.... ARGONAUT!
@Emiya4578 - Yes, I don't mind the extensions if possible... or a second series beyond the original setting (Bell/Ais travel the world exploring on their honeymoon that gets extended for who knows how long). Of course there is the spinoff series, as long as whoever does it, does it right this time and sticks to the SO LN series, not trying to think they can improve on it like they did for the first 12 episodes. This is actually my favorite series so far... although this year has introduced a certain cosplayer that's caught my attention for Waifu of the year!
Okay - thanks, Angelo! I also just learned (after I posted this), that Crunchyroll also are dropping their ad-service and going to a paid-subscription service only... Well, I guess if I have to pay for a service, I'll just take Hidive, then.
I was just curious what streaming services will be available to watch Season 4 of DanMachi. Reason I'm curious, is that Crunchyroll has announced that they will DROP all DanMachi from their services. I just found out. Here's the link to their notice:
So where do you recommend watching the next season?
@Therefir - ask the Bell Bunnies above 😈. I guess it depends on how you look at it - Bell was not a 1st adventurer, and how you look at the rabbit image (as weak or just evasive or something else - rabbit's feet are supposed to be lucky, and we know Bell has the Luck). As we get closer to the last Denatus before the series ends, I do hope that they give Bell a good alias and not something weak or anything like that. If they do go with the rabbit theme (and not Argonaut, my first choice) - then I can only say "The Killer Rabbit" (queue the theme to Monty Python).
@Emiya4578 - agreed, and also the great hero in the DanMachi universe. What? No comments about the Bell Bunnies? (of course, I was clowning when I put them there)
