Yes. Its an unbelievably light punishment.
She was effectively a successful Apollo or Ishtar and we saw how they got punished. But when it come to Freya, the worse punishment is making her be her favorite roleplay for the rest of her time on Genkai.
And breaking up her Familia isn't really a punishment. Because the reason she become Syr in the first place was because she was bored of her Familia.
The author stated that Zard's body can't go up to Level 10 since even his body couldn't handle the power.
This mean Zard would have been a Level 9 at best when he killed the Behemoth with one strike. Assuming Zard was powered up to a Level 9, the Behemoth was likely a Level 8 or a very weak Level 9 monster if just one hit was enough.
Every time that Bell meets Syr has always been Freya.
As for how long Freya been doing the Syr act. Since at least the time of Astrea Records.
Bell uses Argonaut + Firebolt and he oneshots Udaeus.
The series seems to ignore experience over illegal stats like Bell.
It ignore battle experience because battle experience is not a superpower. It is just accumulated knowledge, like how you should aim for a particular weak spot or recognizing whether an attack is a feint or not. Skill and training is only relevant when fighting against physical peers, its why weight-classes in boxing and wrestling are a thing.
Frankly, one of the few things I like about Omori in that he doesn't treat battle experience as a power-up like most shonen animes. Mike Tyson in his prime is one of the greatest fighters in the world. But if he tried to solo a grizzly bear no amount of 'experience' or 'skill' will stop the bear from effortlessly killing Mike Tyson.
Assuming OEBD is Level 10-11 range. Bell being Level 7 is enough. Since a Level 2 Bell was powerful enough to blow the head off a Level 5 Black Goliath with an Argonaut Charge.
Have a Level 7 Bell and give him a boost with Harihume's magic, charge up an Argonaut and he can kill OEBD.
People seems to had the wrong idea about liaris freese. Liaris freese have always been linked to Ais. I get it if you are anime only, but if you are a novel reader. You should already know what liaris freese is about. They outright in-universe confirmation that Liaris Freese is directly influence by his romantic attraction to Ais.
The Skill was directly influenced by the feelings lurking within the boy’s heart. Those feelings—his feelings for Aiz—had become the driving force behind his unbelievably fast ascension to the upper ranks of adventurers.
“So basically him falling head over heels for that Sword Princess makes him grow stronger like there’s no tomorrow?” “Head over heels…?! W-well, I guess that’s true…” (...) Welf was confirming that he understood Liaris Freese correctly after Hestia fell silent. - Volume 8, Danmachi.
Danmachi is just about some kid hopelessly in love with someone out of his league who become a knight to slay the dragon like in those 'save the princess' type of stories (notably Bell's favorite story Argonaut which he also has a Skill for is this)like those tales where Lancelot has to save Guinevere when she gets captured for the umpteenth time, and more often than not, rescues a bunch of other girls on the way there because he's a good guy. That's Danmachi.
And if that is what most people don’t want, well I don't know why you pick up the novel since that is exactly what the story has been from the very beginning.
Yeah. Rem What-If looks more and more depressing as the main series goes on and the number of threats that would have run rampant if Subaru wasn't there.
Sure, Reinhard would stop them before they get out of hand, but there would be A LOT of casualties. At the very least, Priestella would defintely be flooded.
Like, if the soul color changing is enough to stop Freya from torturing Bell for weeks, he didn't need to have Freya torture Bell for weeks.
Eh. I just see Freya as just how gods always go overboard even if its just shallow emotions or petty reasons. Because that is what gods do IRL myths.
Athena and Hera wanted to destroy Troy just because they lost a beauty contest.
Dian Cecht killed Miach out of jealousy
Loki killed Balder for literal shit and giggles.
Zeus literally created Pandora's box with all the evils in it just because Prometheus tried to trick him.
Nuwa sending the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox to destroy the Shang Dynasty because the emperor took a peek at her while she was undressing herself.
Bell took 7 months to reach level 5, and leveling up is getting harder each time, forget the idea of Bell reaching level 10 in 1 years. I reasonably doubt he can even reach level 7.
You do know that Volume 1 to Volume 18 all took place within six months right? He went from Level 1 to Level 5 in six months (which comes out to a Level up every 1.5 months). He did not take seven months to go from Level 4 to 5.
So yes. Becoming Level 10 in a year is very much possible.
I see, that makes sense I guess. But do you think there's enough time for Bell to level multiple times?
I don't see why not. Bell has been consistently leveling up once every few months. Assuming he keeps it consistent, he could potentially reach Level 10 by the end of the year.
And before argueing about him needing to find powerful opponents. He canonically max-out his stats after a week of training in the War Game Arc. So he doesn't need to go in life-threatening danger to gain stats.
Liaris Freese be Bullshit.
Not suprise honestly. If anything its fairly realistic. Bell becomes OP because he shapes up to be Ais' hero, which would be someone who would be powerful enough to beat the OEBD.
He already fulfilled the criteria as Ryu's hero at Level 4 so no reason for him to become OP in a What-If timeline where he decide stick with Ryu.
Doesn't Ardee's skill only work on members from the same Familia??
If they are facing the frikin OBED. I don't see Ganesha having an issue with just lending Ardee to Hestia so Bell can get boosted.
but the fact that that monster could kill a group of first-class adventurers turned out to be true
What first-class adventurers did it take on?
Because Omori also said that a Juggernaut from the 72nd Floor would still lose to either Zard or Alfia. If a juggernaut power creeps from fighting against a pseudo-Level 5 Bell to killing a group of first-tiers from just a difference of three floors than even Zard and Alfia would die like scrubs to a Juggernaut that is 42 floors lower.
Leifya as a Level 4 defeated an abnormal Goliath, meanwhile Bell as a rookie Level 2 is able to decapitate a Level 5-tier Black Goliath with a magic shot and would have killed it if he aimed at its chest area.
Bell as aLevel 4 he one-shotted the Nidhogg who was supposedly more powerful than the Level 7 Demi-Spirits that were trying to unseal it. The same Demi-Spirits that Lefiya does jackshit against.
So no, even if both of them are Level 5, Bell has already outraced Lefiya a long time ago that its honestly just sad.
Eh. Literally all the Girls in his harem know that Bell is only after Ais since they know about his Liaris Freese skill which is empowered by his love for her.
If anything the fact that the girls (Hestia and Lily in particular) still chase after Bell despite knowing his love for Ais is so powerful that its literally a superpower and written on his back makes it more the girls fault than Bell.
Nope. Freya Familia would crush them without effort.
The four Gulliver Brothers were able to fight against a group of 12 adventurers who were a level above them in the LN version of Astrea Record.
Allen Fromel is so fast that he can speedblitz a Demispirit that is stronger than the Demispirit that nearly killed the Loki Familia Elites in Sword Oratoria series. And its stated that his strongest attack can even kill Ottar if he didn't block with all his strength in Freya Familia Chronicles.
The two Elves are powerful enough to each individually slaughter an army of 10,000 Level 2+ members in Freya Chronicles.
And Ottar is powerful enough that he can fight all the executives mentioned above simultaneously without taking a scratch in Freya Familia Chronicles.
