A Scene from a Certain Day Gone by (過ぎ去ったとある日の一幕) is a special short story given to those who purchased volume 9 of DanMachi in Animate.
The story was later adapted in Memoria Freese to promote the first episode of the third season of the anime.

Four days after the Hestia Familia took Wiene in, Bell found her in the courtyard sleeping on Hestia's lap after exhausting herself playing with the Goddess.
Bell apologized for bringing Wiene without permission and causing them trouble. Although he didn't regret saving her, he regretted the burden he had placed on his familia and wanted to apologize. Hestia interrupted him by reminding him that she was the Goddess of the Hearth and declared that she would help anyone who had nowhere to go, be it a person, an animal, or a monster.
Hestia further mentioned that she also wanted to give the girl love and stroked her hair. Touched, Bell silently placed his hand in hers. At that moment Wiene woke up and with her eyes half open she turned her gaze up to see the boy and the Goddess.
The dragon girl was going to call them "Bell" and "Goddess" but with a gentle smile and being half asleep she instead said "Dad" and "Mom", having remembered when Hestia told her to call them that, making them both blush. After looking at each other the two burst into laughter and laughed together with Wiene like a family.
