Ais was dreaming again. She had been having more dreams ever since she met Bell. In that dream, there were a little five-year-old Ais and a fluffy, white rabbit with red eyes wearing a yellow coat and holding a toy knife.
The rabbit was hopping around while looking at his pocket watch and worriedly saying that he was going to be late. Little Ais went after it and was thrilled when she finally caught it by its ears. The rabbit, for its part, squirmed frightened in the air.
Ais, who had only been watching until then, was finally able to move and went to her little self. Embarrassed by her actions, she told her that she couldn't do that and took the rabbit away from her, which upset her little self. She was surprised by how soft it was, but also perplexed by how scared the animal was.
Taking advantage of her being frozen, the rabbit slipped out of her hands and ran away as fast as it could. Ais stood there doing nothing as her younger self stared at her with half-closed eyes.
As she woke up, Ais realized she was covered in sweat due to how much the dream had affected her. Weakly and hesitantly, with a melancholic aura around her, she got out of bed to go take a shower. Around ten days later, the dream she had had finally became true.
