Information

Albert Waldstein (アルバート・ヴァルトシュテイン) was Ais Wallenstein's father and a hero recorded in Dungeon Oratoria.

Appearance[]

Albert was shown to have been a young man with black hair. He wore a maroon scarf, light armor, and wielded a silver longsword.

Personality[]

Albert was a family man, evident by his notorious favoring and concern for Aria and Ais. He hoped that Ais would meet her own hero in the future and would always grant his wife any request if she asked, like when he let her watch him train.

He was a brave person who ventured into the then mostly unknown Dungeon and led several others into its depths, also demonstrating with his leadership that he possessed at least certain qualities of a leader.

Despite this, he had a shy side, since he had a habit of training alone because he felt embarrassed to do so in front of others. However, he was very dedicated and passionate regarding training, as he could get absorbed in it even if he was troubled moments before.

History[]

Albert lived with Aria and Ais long before the start of the story until their battle against the One Eyed Black Dragon, during which he lost his life to injure its eye and drive it away.

Abilities[]

Though Albert's abilities remain mostly unknown, the author mentioned that he is the strongest character that has appeared in the franchise, surpassing even Alfia and Zald.[1][2]

Skilled Swordsman: Albert was incredibly skilled with the sword, enough to be nicknamed Sword Champion. Ais described his swordsmanship as beautiful and likened it to using a takt as he kept movement with the lower half of his body to a minimum while he freely swung his sword.

Although he has not been shown in combat, Albert has been shown to have possessed a formidable technique capable of impressing even seasoned adventurers like Finn and Gareth, who were amazed when they saw Ais replicate his moves.

Trivia[]

  • Albert was also referred to with a variant of his name, Albert (アルベルト).
  • Albert's name is most likely derived from Albrecht Wallenstein, who was also known by the surname Waldstein. In addition, both have Eusebius as a part of their name.
