The Apate Familia (アパテー・ファミリア) was part of Evilus.

The Apate Familia, along with the Alecto Familia, were the most fearsome Familias within Evilus. Both specialized in combat, being the main fighting force of Evilus, and were considered extremist groups even among the dark faction.
The familia used drugs and curses to strengthen their dispensable members and create crazed soldiers. Before the start of the Dark Age they accepted the second class adventurers of the Osiris Familia after their defeat against the Zeus and Hera Familias and subjected them to a new experiment. Instead of their usual strengthening methods they decided to infuse them with the power of Spirits, eventually creating a powerful fighting force of twelve Level 5s with distinct abilities such as using chantless magic and accelerated regeneration known as Spirit Soldiers.
The members of the faction felt an intense fanaticism towards their Goddess, passionately following her doctrine, which did not care about the dignity of people or Spirits, being a truly heretical religion.
Prior to the beginning of the Great Feud the Apate Familia lost its captain, vice captain and executives. However, they still posed a dangerous threat because of the Spirit Soldiers.
During the Great Feud the executives of the Freya Familia fought them, defeating them and severely weakening them. After their defeat, the remaining members were wiped out by Finn.
