As an adaptation of the story told in Astraea Record, the novelization is roughly and generally the same as the events portrayed in the Memoria Freese event. However, as a new version of said story, new details and even entire scenes have been added in this novelization. Below is a list of the additions implemented in the second volume of the novel, which covers the original event's second part, as well as the changes made to it.

Differences[]

  • In the past, Finn and the others had challenged the Zeus and Hera Familias, but it was noted to be a normal part of Orario at the time, though the current case with Zald and Alfia is different, as they are actual enemies of Orario now.
  • While Finn and Gareth had reached Level 5 at the time, there was a large gap in power between them and the Zeus and Hera executives of the past, despite the fact they were all classified as first-class adventurers.
  • It had only taken around 50 attacks for Ottar to bend a knee against Allen, which made Allen feel humilated about this, seeing how weak Ottar had become.
    • The other Freya Familia executives have some small lines here in this scene as well, showing more of their will to fight than usual, after the humiliation they received at the Great Feud.
  • Raul and Aki performed their feat to reach Level 2 by fighting off Evilus members at the Heroes Bridge.
  • Around the time when the Great Feud was happening, Evilus members also attacked the world powers such as the Empire, to prevent them from aiding Orario.
  • The School District was mentioned as a possible problematic force for Evilus, but they are at the eastern side of the continent, and to slow them down they attacked the nearby towns, knowing the School District wouldn't ignore helping the people.
  • The Spirit Soldiers need to be adjusted after a battle, which takes time, so they cannot be used again quickly. According to Basram, even with their power, they still are not as good as an actual first-class adventurers.
  • While Dina and Vena want to jump in, seeing the revived city from the acts of Astraea Familia, Valletta stops them, noting if their location was revealed, Finn would use his "spear".
