Bache Kalif (バーチェ・カリフ) is one of the two captains of the Kali Familia and the younger sister of Argana Kalif.
Appearance[]
Bache is a young woman with mid-length, sand-colored hair, brown skin, and a well-endowed body. As an Amazoness, she wears a revealing outfit. She also wears a black scarf over the bottom half of her face.
Personality[]
Unlike her aggressive sister, Bache is generally quiet. However, she tends to get talkative once she gets excited. She shares the same thirst for battle as her sister, though for a different reason, as she revealed to Tiona that she never once saw Argana as her sister and was afraid of being killed by her. Bache is unable to read or write anything other than the Amazoness language, forcing her to gain Kali's help in translating the hero stories to read to Tiona back when they were young.
Abilities[]
Exceptional Physical Prowess: As a Level 6, Bache's physical abilities are all extremely superior to those of a normal person. In terms of raw physical prowess, her abilities are also exponentially superior to those of any Level 5 or below. Despite having ranked up just a bit earlier than Tiona and Tione, she has an advantage over them in terms of raw power due to having been Level 6 longer than them.
Exceptional Speed, Agility and Reflexes: Bache is incredibly fast. During Argana and Tione's first duel she fended off Ais and Tiona's synchronized attack, launching a kick at the former while she intercepted the latter's blow and threw her. Immediately after her offensive continued, attacking before either of them could attack her again. Her speed surprised Ais, who could barely believe the Amazoness' great speed.
Exceptional Durability: Bache withstood a long series of punches, kicks, and throws from Tiona, even as her Berserk and Intense Heat skills constantly increasing the power of her attacks. She even withstood Tiona's final attack, which is the most powerful attack she can perform when empowered to the maximum extent possible by her skills, that sent her flying into a distant stone wall.
Exceptional Endurance: Bache continued to fight and endure Tiona's assault while her entire body became riddled with wounds and blood gushed from every pore of her body, leaving her covered in her own blood. Even with the damage accumulated and following a violent collision against a stone wall after receiving Tiona's strongest attack, Bache survived and was able to take a few steps before collapsing.
Skilled Warrior: Bache is skilled in hand-to-hand combat, being able to catch Tiona and Ais off-guard and repel them at the same time despite their teamwork, with the latter noticing that she would be unable to defeat her without her sword. Her ability earned her being one of the candidates for captain of her familia years ago.
Enhanced Senses: After acquiring her falna, Bache's senses became much sharper than those of a normal person. Her senses further improved with each subsequent rank up.
Bilingualism: Bache can speak and read both her native Amazonian language as well as Koine, the common language.
Magic[]
Velgus (ヴェルグス): Velgus is Bache's enchant type magic that can imbue things with deadly poison. The poison is unblockable and is stronger than a Poison Vermis's poison, which is known to be deadly.
Velgus causes an extremely adverse reaction in whichever part of the body it comes in contact with, causing it to fall off immediately. The development ability Abnormal Resistance grants some resistance, preventing this from happening. However, its effects are still quite harmful and cause excessive pain in the affected area.
The magic covers the enchanted area in blackish purple light. Originally it only covered her right hand, however, after Bache reached Level 6 its maximum range was extended, being able to cover her entire body.
