Xenos (
Synopsis[]
The Guild knows about Wiene. But instead of demanding answers, it assigns the Hestia Familia a mission they cannot refuse. Something awaits them in the dungeon's darkness.
Plot[]
The Guild is hounded by concerned citizens due to the chaos caused by a Monster appearing in the city. Royman summons Eina to his office to deliver a letter of instruction to Bell for a confidential mission. The mission is that they must make the dangerous trek to the 20th Floor with the Dragon Girl. When Bell asks for Wiene to come, she is hesitant at first, but decides to go with them in spite of her fear. As the Hestia Familia depart into the Dungeon, Hestia follows where the letter summoned her to be, where Fels lies in wait. He soon leads her through a passageway, which takes her to meet with Ouranos.
On the 20th Floor, the Hestia Familia is set up on by Monsters, Mikoto taking note that they appear to be targeting Wiene. As they arrive at the location they were ordered to, they hear humming. Following the song, it leads them to a cave which is not on the map. Suddenly, they are attacked by Lyd and company. However, it turns out that they did not wish to hurt them, and only wanted to test them, seeing as they had been taking care of one of their brethren, Wiene, and wished to see if they would ditch her when the going gets tough. Afterward, the Xenos formally welcome them to their village.
Uranus informs Hestia that the Guild has been supporting monsters, much like Bell and the rest had been, further explaining that her familia is inspiring hope for the coexistence of Monsters and Humans.
