Synopsis[]
The Loki Familia are battle-hardened veterans used to fighting monsters. But this opponent is different...
Plot[]
Dix is attempting to escape. Bloodied and battered, he stumbles away. However, he is caught by Asterius and killed. Elsewhere, on the surface, Wiene is defended from other adventurers by Bell. He states that Wiene is his prey and begins to chase her through the city.
The Xenos remain at large. The Loki Familia are attempting to hunt them down when they are confronted by Asterius. With the power of his axe, he paralyzes them. Ais Wallenstein engages the Minotaur in battle and severs it's arm. Suddenly, the Hermes Familia appear and provide cover via smoke bomb, allowing the Xenos to escape.
Wiene ends up mortally wounded by one of Dix's men, but the Xenos kills the man before he can finish the job. Bell appears to restores her consciousness, however she still perishes in his arms. Moved by Bell's actions, Fels elects to bring Wiene back to life. After this, Bell is scolded by Eina for his reckless actions that put innocent lives at risk.
