Synopsis[]

A hero does what is right, not what is easy. And as for the consequences? To Hell with them.

Plot[]

Managing to evade being captured by the Ishtar Familia once again, Mikoto and Bell take a breather in an alleyway. Bell though, laments over abandoning Haruhime and if he tries to save her he'll start a war with the Ishtar Familia.

Hestia and her Familia along with Takemikazuchi try to gain access into the Pleasure District but are blocked off by two Amazonian guards. Ouka and Chigusa then arrive at the scene and confirm that the other entrances are blocked off as well. At the Ishtar Familia base, Phryne reprimands her subordinates for allowing Bell to escape. On the other hand, Aisha it's hypocritical of Phryne to proclaim that, arguing that Bell escaped in the first place because of her. An Amazonian named Samira chimes in claiming that they can find and hand over Bell to Ishtar after the ritual is over. She also goes as far as to state that it's like Bell and Mikoto have any power to stop them whatsoever.

While Mikoto scouts out the area, Bell continues to lament and ruminate over Haruhime and her belief on Heroes. Although frustrated, Bell's Argonaut activates and upon Mikoto's return, he tells her that he's resolved to save Haruhime regardless of the consequences. Hearing this tearfully pleases Mikoto and after they devise a plan to free Haruhime, the two set off to rescue her.

Bell utilizing the power of the Argonaut charges into the Ishtar Familia casting Firebolt on all of the Ishtar Familia guards there. With the turmoil in the Ishtar Familia base, Hestia and her group bypass the entrance into the pleasure district. Elsewhere, Mikoto interrogates a guard and learns that Haruhime is being held in the waiting room of the Hanging Gardens. News of Bell's appearance reaches Haruhime's location and Phryne orders Samira to take Haruhime to the Hanging Gardens.

Back to Bell who continues his rampage throughout the Ishtar Familia base, Phryne confronts Bell, and the two briefly fight. Confronted by Aisha and a large number of guards, Ishtar stops them and orders them all to head to the ritual site. Both Bell and Ishtar then discuss her plan on using the Killing Stone to Rank Up all of her Familia to take out the Freya Familia. After the discussion is over, Bell is restrained by Tammuz, and Ishtar uses her Divine Charm on him. Meanwhile, Freya now privy to Ishtar's plan, sets off with her personal army to go to war with the Ishtar Familia. Perturbed as to why her charm isn't working on Bell, it's revealed that his skill Liaris Freese cancels it out. Slipping away from the male guard that restrained him, Bell escapes and is pursued by the guard.

Meanwhile, Mikoto reaches the Hanging Gardens and takes out the two guards protecting Haruhime. The two talks until Lena throws a chakram at Mikoto slicing her left shoulder and falls off the side of the bridge that connected to the Hanging Garden. As she falls, Mikoto fires off the red flare signaling that she failed. When Bell sees this, he refuses to give up and so does Mikoto as she climbs the wall back up to the Hanging Garden. Before the ritual is started, Mikoto returns and takes out a couple of Ishtar Familia guards. Excited by this turn of events, Samira challenges Mikoto on a one on one match. Mikoto accepts and is easily overpowered by the Rank 3 Amazonian. It's then that Phryne learns that Bell has escaped from Ishtar. She presumes that he's in the area and calls Bell out. Not wanting to give up, Mikoto gets back up ready to fight again, but her time is up as the time for the ritual has started.

A flashback involving Takemikazuchi and Mikoto when she was younger shows the god advising Mikoto to follow the true way of a Ninja. Overcoming her kindness and purity in favor of dirty tactics and dishonor. Following that advice from her former God, Mikoto grabs Samira and casts a magical discharge spell. This creates a large explosion taking out Samira and some of the guards as well. Weakened by casting the spell, Mikoto falls weakly over the side and calls out to Bell to save Haruhime. Desperately, Bell appears and rushes toward Haruhime. To prevent Bell from saving Haruhime, Phryne orders Sharay to kill Haruhime. However, she fails thanks to Bell who not only stops her but destroys the Killing Stone in the process.
