Elf in Love (恋するエルフ) is a special short story given to those who purchased volume 12 of DanMachi in Melonbooks.
The story was later adapted in Memoria Freese to promote the second episode of the fourth season of the anime.
Summary[]
Before the Hestia Familia went on their expedition to the lower floors, Bell had been attending his regular lessons with Eina. At the end of one session, Eina had, in a timid manner, invited Bell to dinner with her. Bell was surprised and noted that it was late.
As Eina was too nervous, she made up a long series of excuses for why she wanted to have a pretend date with Bell. Oblivious to Eina's struggles, real and imaginary, Bell accepted.
Later, at the Hostess of Fertility, Lili and Welf were noting how rare it was to spend time with Guild employees. Bell, thinking that Eina had wanted company, invited them to eat with him and Eina. As Eina held back her tears, Bell looked at her confused. Lili and Syr asked Eina what they were planning to do alone, while Eina just looked away, blushing.
