Fels (フェルズ) is a mysterious mage that is affiliated with Ouranos.
Appearance[]
Fels wears black robes that cover their face, making it impossible to tell their gender or any other features. It is later revealed that they are a skeleton underneath all their robes.
Personality[]
Fels works directly under Ouranos and will take any orders from him, although they will act on their own if necessary. They consider their experience creating the stone that granted immortality as their trauma.
They also feel great self-loathing, considering themself a fool for their actions, which is why they no longer consider themself the figure of their legend and refers to themself as "fool" instead of "sage". However, their deep understanding of magic and their abilities are still a source of confidence for them even in combat, certain of their ability to defend themself and defeat opponents.
Through their interactions with them and various actions they have shown to have a great appreciation for the Xenos. They were even moved to see the willingness of the leaders of several of Orario's most powerful factions to join forces with them in a conflict as important as the final battle in Knossos.
They are an intelligent, wise and cunning person. Seeking to avoid conflict with the forces of the Loki Familia in their journey to return the Xenos to the dungeon, they quickly devised a strategy to appeal to their emotional side so that they would be unwilling to face them, a plan that would have worked if not for Riveria's interference.
Abilities[]
Amazing Physical Prowess: As a Level 4, Fels' physical abilities are all dramatically superior to those of a normal person. In terms of raw physical prowess, their abilities are also exponentially superior to those of any Level 3 or below.
Skilled Combatant: Fels expresses confidence in their ability to use magical power and their mind. In conjunction with their use of their own items, they have shown great skill in combat. On their first incursion in Knossos they faced the main force of the Ikelos Familia composed of Gran and three others, who had defeated Ranye, on their own.
Commander: Hermes pointed out that in terms of experience Fels surpasses even Finn. However, both have fought different types of battles, with Fels being more of a "civilian officer", which makes them a terrible match against the Pallum.
Immortality: Due to the Philosopher's Stone they created, Fels achieved immortality. Although this did not prevent the deterioration of their body, their current state means that they do not need to eat, drink or sleep. However, they can still get tired. Additionally, Fels speculated that in their current state curses such as Dix's Phobetor Daedalus would have no effect on their body.
Enhanced Senses: After acquiring their falna, Fels' senses became much better than those of a normal person. Their senses further improved with each subsequent rank up.
Concurrent Chanting (並行詠唱): A high level technique involving casting magic while fighting or moving around. Its difficulty is likened to dealing with a bomb with both hands while fighting, due to the chance of failing a chant or not being able to control their own magic power.
Magic[]
Dia Panakeia (ディア・パナケイア): Dia Panakeia is a healing magic which creates colored spheres of light that heal the target. Its effects are comparable to an elixir. It can also remove curses.[1]
Dia Orpheus (ディア・オルフェウス): Dia Orpheus is Fels' resurrection magic. It succeeded for the first time in 800 years by reviving Wiene.
Development Abilities[]
Mage (魔導): Mage improves the power of Fels' magic, widens effect range, and makes mind usage efficient. It also creates a white colored magic circle under Fels when they use magic. The ability grants them a magic stat equivalent to that of a Level 5.
Mystery (神秘): Mystery enables Fels to create magic items. It's assumed that they are at a high rank in this development ability as they are known to be the Sage that created the Philosopher's Stone that granted immortality. Not even Asfi, who is recognized as Orario's best item creator, is at the level necessary to replicate some of their inventions. Indeed, the manufacturer was impressed when she saw an Occulus, one of Fels' creations.

Cloak: A black cloak worn by Fels that can block curses and anti status magic, and allows Fels to become invisible.
Familiar: Fels owns an owl which is his familiar and has an occulus set as an eye, which allows them to use it for surveillance.

- Fels' healing magic, Dia Panakeia, is based on Panacea, the Greek goddess of universal remedy.
- Fels' resurrection magic, Dia Orpheus, is based on Orpheus, who tried to bring his deceased wife back from the underworld in Greek mythology.
