Fianna (フィアナ) was the captain of the Fianna Knights and is a character in DanMachi ~Memoria Freese~. She is Liliruca Arde's past life.
Appearance[]
Fianna was a short woman with brown hair. Due to the Bloodfury Spear her eyes were of a blood red color and were said to resemble those of a monster. Her attire consisted of a long-sleeved blue garment with gold patterns along the sleeves, as well as a gold-edged collar. Her blouse was puffy in the region of her shoulders and she had a pair of belts fastened over her blouse, one on each of her arms. She apparently wore a short white dress under the rest of her clothes.
She wore thigh-high stockings that were navy blue on the outside and blue on the inside, which she used to wear with a little of the tops folded out. The inside of her stockings had golden traces; a single straight line in the center and an arrow at the top in conjunction with golden edges.
Fianna did not wear a full body armor but instead used different pieces of armor located only in some parts of her body; she only wore armguards, a breastplate, gauntlets, skirts, boots, and a characteristic visor. Each piece had patterns drawn on their surfaces and were mostly gold, the only exceptions being those on her gauntlets and skirts which were silver.
The visor was quite large, completely covering the upper part of her face, and thus her eyes, and was completely covered in an extensive gold pattern. Her armguards were nothing more than a single piece of metal on both arms with gold trim. In addition to that, the patterns seemed to be identical to those of her blue blouse, over which they were placed.
Her breastplate covered only her chest and part of her stomach, leaving the rest exposed. It had a circular piece attached that went around her neck and a golden piece located in the center of the bottom. It was embedded with three red stones, all aligned in the center. The first sat at the top on a gold ribbon, with a tiny second just below it. The third was in the bottom gold piece.
The skirts consisted of a golden piece that went around his waist to which were attached two pairs of plates, each on one side of her waist. The golden piece formed a pair of small arcs, with its low ends meeting in the center of Fianna's waist, where a diamond-shaped red stone framed by a gold rim was embedded.
The gauntlets had simple, unpatterned, gold-edged pieces attached to them, which covered the elbow area. For its part, both boots had a red gem framed by a golden border on the top and a group of diagonal lines around them.
Personality[]
Fianna had a strict personality with herself as well as with others. However, she also had a side that admired her old friends. While acting cool headed and dignified most of the time, she could also be unrefined if the situation warranted it, such as when she used vulgar language to insult a group of mercenaries. She loathed the world as a place full of despair. She loved her half-brother Dim and tried to protect him by stopping him from becoming a knight.
History[]
Fianna slew multitudes of monsters and saved countless people during the Ancient Times, showing bravery and being the Pallums' first and last symbol of glory, rising even before Argonaut. In later times she came to be deified and worshiped as the Goddess of the Pallums.
Abilities[]
Bloodfury Spear: A power which lied within Fianna's soul. After awakening it through her anger towards the world, she became a tremendously powerful warrior with a might comparable to a Level 5 or 6; the power granted by the ability depended on her level of anger and how much of it was restrained by her visor.
Known for her "single-horseman ride", she was capable of attaining the victory on a battlefield all by herself, stunning even experienced knights, causing her to be called a "witch". It allowed her to face off against a horde of hundreds of Fomoires alone.
Spirit: Fianna made a contract with Finegas, a Spirit of Goibniu.
Horseman: Fianna was able to ride a horse.
Equipment[]
Holy Spear of the Oath: Fianna's main weapon. It was believed to have been made by Finegas.
