Denatus (
Summary[]
Ten days earlier, on the 30th floor of Babel, the Denatus had been held. Loki had been surprised to see Hestia was there but she didn't care since she had other things to attend. Loki started the Denatus, ordering them to start sharing information. A few things were mentioned such as Soma having received a warning from the Guild and Rakia planning to attack Orario. After letting them talk for a while Loki mentioned the new species and told them they had attacked during the Monster Feria and at a safe point in the dungeon, as well as announcing that Evilus had also been acting up recently. Her goal was to study the reaction of the other Gods and see if any had a connection to it.
At that momment, Ganesha suddenly asked to say something. He first announced that he was Ganesha, causing Loki to tell him to shut up. After that he apologized for the Monster Feria incident, claiming that his Familia had nothing to do with monsters. Finally, he revealed that on the floor where the monsters had attacked, Hashana, a member of his Familia, had been killed, and asked them to reveal anything they knew. Ganesha cried as he stated he was jealous of him because he had died while having sex, prompting Loki to reveal he had not.
After that they moved on to the naming ceremony which all the Gods were waiting for. The first was Seti Selty of the Set Familia; Set asked them to have mercy on him but the other Gods refused. Then it was the turn of Takemikazuchi's girl, Yamato Mikoto. One proposed Jeanne of Yamato, while another proposed Saint Tail and a third Te Shio, causing Takemikazuchi to ask them to stop. Some Gods asked Dionysus if he had no suggestions as this was the first Denatus he had attended in a while. Takemikazuchi asked him to choose a good alias but in the end Dionysus proposed Absolute Shadow, which was accepted. Next on the list was Ais. Everyone was shocked that she was already Level 6 plus and had also defeated Udaeus alone; someone commented that she was even more amazing than Ottar but another refuted it by pointing out he had half killed a Balor alone, so he was even more amazing. After that they moved on to her alias and someone asked if they really needed to change it. One suggested changing it to Sword Saint but was rejected as it didn't fit her, and someone suggested naming her Our Wife, gaining the approval of many, however it was scrapped as soon as Loki said she would kill them if they did so, leading to her alias staying as Sword Princess.
Finally, the gods reached Bell. Loki was surprised that Hestia's child had reached Level 2 in only a month and a half since the previous record holder had taken a year. Loki tried to investigate and asked Hestia how he had done it since it had taken Ais a year to do it. She thought it could be possible she had a connection with Evilus and the Creatures but dismissed the possibility as she knew Hestia wouldn't be able to do it. Loki also ruled out the possibility she had used her Arcanum, as she would have been found out if she had. She deduced it must had been a skill that allowed him to grow faster which he obtained purely by coincidence. This bothered her so she decided to tease Hestia and pressured her to talk. However, Freya intervened and asked why she was so interested in it, pointing out that she was only jealous because he had broken the record of her favorite girl. She noted he was the same one who had "miraculously" defeated a Minotaur, so if that Minotaur had been his predestined opponent, the excelia gained would have had a special meaning for him, allowing him to level up. After that Freya left saying that there was something she had to attend and Loki warned Hestia to be careful with Freya. Hestia didn't understand but Loki told her to figure it out on her own and that it wasn't her problem anyway.
After the Denatus finished Loki met with Hermes and Dionysus to see if they had gotten anything. Dionysus claimed to have seen some Gods react, however, he pointed out that they were probably just the fun-seeking type while Hermes said the same. Hermes announced that he would be leaving as he had to attend a matter outside Orario and that he would leave it to them, but that he would return soon and leave his children looking for information on the incident, after which he left.
In the present Loki was bored when she heard that Bete had arrived. She went with him and, after welcoming him, asked him what had happened to the others. He told her about the situation and that he was going to the Dian Cecht Familia and that she should tell the rest to look in other stores. Loki told him that they would but it would still take two or three days. She then offered to give him a massage but he refused and instead gave her the letter Finn had written which she thanked him for.
In the dungeon, Lefiya saw people gathered around a tent and asked Raul and Aki what had happened. They replied that Ais had found and saved a group that had been attacked by the Goliath on the 17th Floor who were in terrible condition as well as currently unconscious. Raul added that one of them was a friend of Ais. Lefiya had a bad feeling and she leaned out to see, she thought it was impossible that it was who she was thinking but she was surprised to see that the one who was there was Bell. She screamed as soon as she saw him, causing her to be scolded.
