After finishing updating Bell's status, Hestia lamented how little his stats had increased despite waiting until the last moment to update it.
As she watched Bell put his combat clothes back on, Hestia angrily looked at the status on his back. She hated that Freya had "marked" him as the name of his new skill, Vanadis Tevere, was a clear reference to her. But since it was actually a blessing coming from her she calmed down, glad that she had left a mark on the boy.
Suddenly, Hestia asked Bell if he really didn't want to read a grimoire. Haruhime had used up all the ones they got from Fels, but in hindsight she believed Bell could have acquired a magic befitting a Level 5 if he read one.
Bell explained that he wouldn't be able to master a new magic immediately due to lacking any such formation. Furthermore, having to choose between two options would make him hesitate, which could lead to his defeat. From his experience in Folkvangr, Bell concluded that the best strategy was not to obtain more powers, but to refine the ones he already had.
Hestia was amazed by her dependent, who had not only just become a first-class adventurer, but was also beginning to exude the presence of one, even if Bell himself was unaware of that.
Hestia was filled with a joy greater than if he had obtained new magic, and with new hope, declared that they would definitely win.
