Grainne (グラニア) was the queen of the Cormac Kingdom and is a character in DanMachi ~Memoria Freese~. In truth, she was an imposter who usurped the real Grainne's identity. She is Valletta Grede's past life.
Appearance[]
Grainne was said to be otherworldly beautiful and exuded an air of dignity. She had the emblem of the former Alster Kingdom on her forehead.
Personality[]
On the surface, Grainne pretended to be a kind and gentle motherly figure deeply concerned about people's wellbeing. In reality, she was an extremely twisted and sadistic person who enjoyed tormenting people for their screams in agony, with Pallums and children being her favorite victims. She was also shown to have mummified her dismembered victims and stored them in her secret torture chamber.
Abilities[]
Manipulation: She was a master of manipulation, capable of manipulating the King of Cormac into acting in accordance to her plans unknowingly.
Skilled Fighter: Despite her appearance she was a highly capable warrior, able to kill both monsters and people with ease. She was powerful enough to beat Maylia and Helga.

- Grainne is based on the daughter of king Cormac mac Airt and Fionn mac Cumhaill's fiancée in Irish mythology.
