Volume 4

At the Denatus, Hestia, Hephaestus, Takemikazuchi, Hermes, Loki, Freya, Ishtar, Ganesha, Set, and several other Gods assembled to talk and decide on aliases. Set pleaded for a normal alias for Seti Selty but his pleas were rejected as Seti received the alias of Burning Fighting Fighter. Takemikazuchi also asked for the same though his pleas were rejected by the other Gods for being a "natural gigolo" and Yamato Mikoto was given the alias of Zetsu Ei. The Gods were surprised when they reached Bell's name, with Loki accusing Hestia of using illegal methods to raise his level. However, Freya came to her rescue by swaying all of the male Gods to her side. With Freya's intervention, the Gods decided to give Bell a proper alias. While the other Gods debated on Bell's alias, Loki told Hestia to be wary of Freya because she had protected Bell. Hestia wasn't sure what she meant but still took her advice. As a thought came to her mind, the Gods decided on as Little Rookie as Bell's alias.

Volume 7

After leaving Bell in the Entertainment District, Hermes arrived at his destination which turned out to be Ishtar's room, delivering something that she wanted. While there, Ishtar asked Hermes if he knew any weaknesses Freya may have. He tried to keep his mouth shut but was forcefully charmed by her and the information about Bell was forced out of him. Ishtar took an interest in Bell who Freya had her eye on and thought up of a plan to get back at her.

Bell and Mikoto split up to attack the Ishtar Familia home. Bell would attract as much as he could to himself while Mikoto would rescue Haruhime. Bell forced his way through the main entrance using Firebolt and led as many of the Amazonesses away from Mikoto as possible. However, while running he encountered Phryne and Aisha. He tried to run and fight against Phryne but was quickly overpowered and surrounded by Aisha and her Barbelas. Ishtar appeared and ordered the Amazonesses to go to the Killing Stone while she dealt with Bell. Bell and Ishtar argued over Haruhime on how she was treated which. She ordered Tammuz to hold Bell down while she stripped, intent on making Bell her own. However, she was shocked when she saw that he was unaffected by her charm. She ordered Tammuz to uncover his status and saw the effects of Realis Phrase on his back. Bell took advantage of the opportunity to run away while Ishtar was shocked, causing her to order Tammuz to catch him.

As she watched the Freya Familia attack, Ishtar ordered her Familia members to report to her. Even though she was panicking, she calmly tried to think about why Freya was attacking her. She ultimately came to the conclusion of Bell, something which really shocked her. Ishtar didn't think that Freya would actually attack over someone like Bell. At that moment she noticed that everything had become silent. She turned to look and saw Freya approaching her. Freya addressed her, telling her that she came to bid her farewell. Ishtar quickly ordered two Familia members near her to hold her back, however Freya took care of both of them with a glance and a smile. Frightened, Ishtar ran away from Freya and up the stairway.

Freya called out to Ishtar as she followed her which increased Ishtar's fear even further, Eventually, both Goddesses reached the roof of the Ishtar Familia home, leaving Ishtar no where to run. Ishtar tried to plead for forgiveness, however Freya wouldn't have any of it this time. She told her that Bell was hers and that if any Goddess tried to do anything, she would get rid of them. Freya then told her that she would crush her, getting rid of any chance for Ishtar's forgiveness.

Ishtar continued to plead for forgiveness while Tammuz managed to climb to the other side of the roof. She tried to negotiate with Freya by offering to tell her why their charm didn't work on him. Freya commented that it would make it worthwhile to make Bell her own, though she didn't want to hear it from Ishtar. Ishtar tried to have Tammuz take Freya down. However, Freya turned around as if she knew he was there and charmed him, telling him to leave them alone. Tammuz obeyed her order and left. As she watched Tammuz leave, she knew that Freya had overwritten her charm. Furious, Ishtar demanded to know what the difference between them was, to which Freya answered with character.

Freya's answer angered Ishtar even further, causing her to attack Freya herself. However, Freya spun around as Ishtar reached her, causing her to go right past her. Ishtar managed to stop herself though her fear grew as Freya approached from behind. As Ishtar turned around, Freya pushed her, forcing her further off balance. Freya pushed her twice and reached the edge. Ishtar tried to plead for forgiveness one last time but was cut off as Freya slapped her face with her left hand. Her body lost balance and fell off the roof, ultimately smashing into the ground forty floors below. Immediately, Ishtar's Arcanum worked to preserve her life. Freya saw this and snapped her fingers, turning Ishtar into a pillar of light and forcing her back to heaven. She then looked over at Bell and mouthed "I love you" to him before leaving.

Volume 5

Four days before the Loki Familia expedition, Loki attend the Denatus on the 30th floor of the Babel. She decided to take charge of the meeting that day as she wanted to see if she could gain some information on the enemies in the dungeon. Ganesha asked if he could speak, however he first announced to everyone that he was Ganesha, causing her to tell him to sit down. However, Ganesha got to the point and asked the others for any information on the murder of Hashana. Ganesha also made sure to tell everyone that the new monsters that attacked weren't any of the monster kept by the Ganesha Familia.

The meeting moved on to the naming ceremony. Immediately a portions of the Gods started smiling darkly. The Gods of stronger Familias often picked on the Gods of weaker Familias by giving embarrassing aliases to their Familia members. The naming ceremony this time was no exception as adventurers such as Set's Familia member Seti Selty and others received embarrassing aliases. The others Gods decided to ask for Dionysus' opinion on what alias to give Yamato Mikoto, and after a short thought Dionysus suggested Zetsu Ei, much to Takemikazuchi's horror. However, no one wanted to pick a fight with stronger Familias such as the Hephaestus Familia so the alias suggestions for their adventurers were much more normal.

Eventually the Gods reached Bell. Loki was suspicious of his level up, especially because the time taken was only a month and a half. She tried to pry into Hestia's personal information but was stopped by Freya. Freya logically pointed out the flaws Loki's reasoning and reasoned that she was simply jealous. Loki wasn't satisfied with the result but nonetheless decided to back down. As the Gods decided on Bell's alias, Loki warned Hestia about Freya. After the Denatus was over, Hermes announced that he was leaving, even though he was the one that suggested that those Familias affected by the enemy in the dungeon should work together. However, he assured the others that he would be back soon.

Volume 6

While Loki and Riveria went over their information at the bar, Ishtar, along with some members of her Familia, met with Kali in an inn she had prepared to discuss the request letter she had sent. As she desired to destroy the Freya Familia, Ishtar had sent a letter to Kali a year earlier to discuss an alliance, intent on using them to help defeat her enemies. Kali commented that she was only interested in fighting the Freya Familia, causing Ishtar to inform her of the battle plan, as she didn't want them to do whatever they wanted. After she listened to her explanation, Kali remarked that a Goddess' jealousy was ugly, prompting Ishtar to mention that she would do anything to defeat Freya.

Once they sealed the alliance, Kali wondered how Ishtar was going to have her Familia fight Ottar, as he was Level 7 compared to Phryne, who was Level 5. Not worrying about Kali's remark, Ishtar mentioned that she had a trump card, drawing the Goddess' gaze to a person behind her, who Kali recognized as a Beast Human, though her view was quickly blocked by Aisha who hid the girl behind her. Moving her attention away from the girl, Kali asked to have their reward changed from gold to a fight against the Loki Familia, telling Ishtar she wanted to pit the Caliph sisters against the Hiryute sisters to see who was stronger, then asked them to hold the Loki Familia off while they fought, to which Ishtar agreed to after some words from Phryne.

Volume 7

Separated from the rest of the Familia, Lefiya and Filvis wandered through Knossos in an attempt to find someone or an exist when they spotted Ein, who they carefully followed after. Not noticing their presence, Ein led them to a door that connected to the sewers, where he let in a hooded man and woman, one of which they felt to be a God. The three disappeared through another door, leaving the sewer door open, which Lefiya froze shut with Wynn Fimbulvetr to try to keep it open.

Once the two Elves left the mural corridor, Ishtar, who had arrived with Tammuz, called out Thanatos, requesting to see how powerful the Heavenly Male Cow was that she was going to receive, pointing out that the Loki Familia would be a good target to test it on. Thanatos was originally hesitant about her request, mentioning that the Loki Familia was already weakened to the point that there would be no need for a last boss, nevertheless he complied when she reminded him of all the money she had funded their activities with.

Ishtar, seeing how easily the Demi Spirit dealt with Gareth, Tione, and Tiona, was impressed by its strength, stating that it could easily destroy the Freya Familia. Next to her, Thanatos was also impressed by its strength, wishing that they had one of them back when Evilus still existed, and ignored his followers' pleas to deal with a raging Barca who was worried about Knossos.
