Luke Fowl (ルーク・ファウル) is a student of the School District and the leader of the 7th Squad of the Baldr Class.
Appearance[]
Luke is an attractive young man with ash-colored hair. In combat he wears a personally modified battle uniform and wields a longsword.
Personality[]
Luke is a person of few words and tends to be impulsive. He hated adventurers because he felt that they took it easy while the world outside of Orario greatly suffered from monster attacks. Feeling that they were acting too slow, he decided to become a hero to save people.
His dissatisfaction and ambition made him act recklessly, and his self-sacrificing attitude made him someone who could die quickly. However, he was not a problem student and actually produces excellent grades. However, he was still willing to disobey authorities, such as when he insisted on going to the Lower Floors even though his squad was only allowed to go as far as the 18th Floor.
Luke did not wish to unnecessarily involve others in his daring and was fine with acting completely alone, as he demonstrated by telling Lefiya that he would fight alone when she asked if she had thought about how his actions could put his comrades at risk. He has also shown that he cares a lot about his teammates, worrying about them after they got separated after a cave-in in the dungeon and getting angry at Lefiya for staying calm.
Because she is an adventurer, Luke was initially rude to Lefiya, giving her a cold look when they first met. However, after their first trip to the dungeon, Luke showed an improvement in his attitude as well as in his treatment towards Lefiya due to her words about how his death could endanger and sadden his team, assuring him that they would get stronger together and telling him he should not keep his dissatisfaction to himself as she would be there to guide him. Luke retained his desire to help people but stopped being as reckless and paid attention to Lefiya's lessons.
In their journey to find his team, Luke was shocked to learn that Lefiya had killed a person dear to her. He realized that she is not the person that his classmates idealized and thinks that she is sometimes terrifying. However, after a moment he decided not to think about it and resolved to never leave her alone.
Abilities[]
As a member of the 7th Squad, Luke is one of the best students in the School District in terms of combat ability. In addition to fighting on the front line, he acts as the squad leader and effectively leads his teammates. After practicing with them for a while, he also learned how to move to the center to switch positions with Mililia and Cole.
Enormous Physical Ability: As a Level 3, Luke's physical abilities are all drastically superior to those of a normal person.
Skilled Swordsman: Luke's swordsmanship is the best among all the students in the School District and his melee skills are much better than Lefiya's.
Enhanced Senses: After acquiring his falna, Luke's senses became much sharper and far better than those of most people. His senses further improved with each subsequent level up.
