  • is it both the paper back and the digital version that is delayed? i saw some where that the digital was still releasing on time.

  • Why are you claiming as "non-relevant" that trivia about Marius's name? Specially when you only keep a part of the trivia which is of dubious veracity. I mean, it's a bit absurd claiming that his name is a reference to Ares, since "Marius" isn't related etimologically to either Mars or Ares (on the case of his father, Martinus, it means "he who belongs to Mars", by the way).

It is obvious (for anyone who has read about Roman history) that Marius is to be a reference to the real life Roman general Gaius Marius during his early life. And I don't think mentioning what does his name mean in Latin (specially when "Victrix" was a known title given to certain people or military units after winning battles that seemed unwinnable).

    • If the one on Marius' page is wrong then feel free to remove it, it should've been phrased better to mention Mars anyway

I agree that they're both generals and have the same name, but that doesn't really prove anything like you claim it does. The Latin name trivia isn't really necessary either since we don't know if they have that system in the DanMachi world

    • Not just name but also traits: Marius was an extremely competent general and he rose to the top after a serious military defeat (in the early Cimbrian wars) which he had been able to foresee but his superiors didn't listen to him.

About his second name, it still means that, and knowing that most characters and places include references to either mitological or historical figures (Daedalus, for example, was a Greek mithological figure, a mithical architect who became mad, in fact he does in Danmachi basically the same things he did on the Greek mithology). It also gives clue that Rakia, being both a military expansionist kingdom and using Latin names, may be based in the Roman Empire (and it would fit to compare the Cimbrian wars prior to the Marian reforms with the Orario wars, as in both Roma/Rakia was losing).

    • Rakia is definitely not based off the Roman Empire. The author has a common practice of using names in familias related to the god who leads them. This is Especially true for less important familias in the story.

The comparison of the sixth Rakian Orario War to the Cambrian Wars is dubious at best, the cause of each conflict have no similarities as well as zero other similarities besides a guy named Marius.

  • Hi, I saw you recently deleted the LN summaries from this fandom site. Is there any place where I could still read them?

  • I wonder the 15th LN, will Bell level up to Lvl5 ?

  • Once again I'm here, I'm sorry, but I have question that I can't answer by myself. Even though I've been thinking about it a lot in the last few days. A few days ago I read the synopsis of Sword Oratoria's first light novels out of curiosity (I started reading them from the fifth onwards) and saw that they are very short and that some things are missing, (although I saw that above the synopsis it says they are under construction, I wanted to ask anyway). But are all the hints of Ais's feelings towards Bell that are present in the anime was invented or they are actually  n the novels? To give you an example, when Ais pouted and blushed wondering why Bell always ran away from her. Or when a few moments before, she became a little bit red in the face when Bell asked her (while he was on her pillow) if she was an hallucination. Or when she pouted and blushed slightly when Bell escaped from her after rescuing him from the Mino. and many other "moments". I confirmed some of these hints / moments by reading the Bell x Ais threads. I know I should read the first 3 novels to answer these questions, but I don't know where to buy them translated into my native language

    • It really just amounts to a writing choice by the author that Bell was able to smell Ais scent as well as Hestia's perfume, story wise it could be chalked up to adventurers have improved senses.

  • Do you have any information why Danmachi manga was stopped (no update anymore)?

  • Sorry once again for the stupid question but I didnt understand that. Some people say that Bell wanted to become an adventurer to gather girls to start a harem. But from what I've seen / read so far, it seems to me that Bell never had this goal. he is a good boy with a soft heart who cares and helps the people around him, he doesn't seem like the kind of person. perhaps the title "badly translated" has confused a few people. and he himself states that the harems bring only trouble in the 8th light novel of Danmachi.
