Nina Tulle (ニイナ・チュール) is Eina's younger sister and a student of the School District. She is the leader of the 3rd Squad of Baldr Class.
Appearance[]
Nina is a beautiful half-elf girl who looks older than she really is and has long brown hair. A tuft of her hair on the front and her eyes are green, which are proof of her noble bloodline. Though her overall physical appearance differs from Eina, her face resembles Eina so much to the point it’s easy to tell they are sisters.
Personality[]
Nano recognized Nina as smarter than her and described her as a hardworking girl. She is also just as rigorous an instructor as her sister. She is very mature for her age, which often leads others to think that she is older than she really is, which bothers her.
She seems to be quite friendly and helpful. During Bell's first day in the School District she offered him a sit at her side, defended him from Iglin's mockery, gave him a tour through the institution and helped him choose subjects, in addition to offering to help him study.
From the beginning Nina had a complicated relationship with her sister. Eina had left her home when she was just a newborn, and by the time she returned Nina was gone too. The two had only spoken through letters and with a certain degree of awkwardness. Nina tried hard to become just like her sister by making the same decisions as her. However, she became depressed as she was unable to perform any of the same achievements as her and found herself not knowing which path to take in life. It got to the point that she stopped writing back to Eina and ran away from her sister upon seeing her for the first time in person.
During Bell's time in the School District she forged a deep bond with him. Nina constantly supported him in adapting to the institution and in his studies. At the same time, she marveled at his skills and dedication and how his advice helped others improve. In addition to this, Nina came to admire him because he had already decided what to do with his life, unlike her. As time went on, she even began to feel closer to him, noting that their relationship was a little more than that of two good friends.
His words helped her feel better and he helped her understand her true feelings. Bell pointed out that she actually wanted to become something different to her sister. While she believed that she just wanted to be just like her, she was actually jealous and admired Eina a lot, so she wanted to be even better to show people how great she could be. After meeting with her sister and speaking for the first time, the two restored their relationship and are now on good terms.
After her trip to the 25th Floor, Nina acquired a new objective, that of protecting Bell who is an important person to her. She also decided that she wanted to become an adventurer to see various scenarios alongside him. Since then she has been deeply in love with the young adventurer. Her infatuation is to the point that she didn't listen to Eina's words about how Bell was already in love with Ais while she was talking about her own illusions.
Abilities[]
Great Physical Prowess: As a Level 2, Nina's physical abilities are all significantly superior to those of a normal person. In terms of raw physical prowess, her abilities are also exponentially superior to those of any Level 1.
Skilled Healer: Nina is a quite skilled healer whose ability allowed her to heal multiple people at the same time from either wounds and fatigue or any kind of status abnormality.
Enhanced Senses: After acquiring her falna, Nina's senses became much better than those of a normal person. They improved even more after she ranked up.
Magic[]
Magia Kris (マギア・クリス): A healing magic that can heal wounds and restore stamina to multiple targets at a certain distance. It creates magic power in the shape of pure white flower petals that envelop the bodies of its targets.
Lagriel Krisheim (ラグリエル・クリスヘイム): A rare healing magic that can heal all kinds of status abnormality. It creates a medium-sized white barrier where everyone within will be continuously healed and protected from abnormalities such as poison, paralysis, curses and mental attacks, being likened to an "Elf's sanctuary". Nina developed this magic due to her younger self who saw her beloved mother dying and wished to save her.
Trivia[]
- Oomori stated that Nina's birthday is in spring, like Bell, Haruhime, and Ryuu.[1] This makes the four of them the only characters about whom details of their birthdays have been given.
