Freya[]
Freya found Ottar long ago when he was an abandoned child freezing and hungry in a back alley. She lifted him up onto her arms and told him that he was beautiful. When she found out that he did not have a name, she named him Ottar.
After saving Ottar from the alley, she provided him with everything he needed, food, home, and emotional warmth. In doing so, Freya became his everything. Ottar put everything he had into becoming stronger for Freya.
Ottar is extremely loyal to Freya and will follow her orders. He is shown to not feel any jealousy toward Freya's interest in Bell. He also does not allow anyone to insult Freya and will become enraged if anyone does so.
Bell Cranel[]
Ottar feels no jealousy toward Bell from his constant attention from Freya. Likening Freya's love to the wind, he states that there is no reason to feel any jealousy toward him as Freya's love extends to everyone and is never bound. He is respectful of him and cheered him on while he was taming the Minotaur to send it to him.
Ais Wallenstein[]
Ottar respects Ais as a fellow high-level adventurer. During their training, despite not having interest in helping her overcome her doubts due to meeting the Xenos, his words helped her to do it and gain the resolve necessary to use her skill against Revis.
Yamato Mikoto[]
Mikoto earned Ottar's respect after he noticed her self-sacrifice to protect her friends during the invasion in the Entertainment District. He wasted no time healing her in the middle of his mission while other executive members of Freya Familia ignored her.
Freya Familia[]
Despite his constant clashes with them, Ottar respects the other executives of the Freya Familia and even tries to help them from time to time, giving them advices in the middle of a fight with the intention that they use them to improve and get stronger.
Finn Deimne[]
Since they are captains of their familias, it is not ideal for them to get along very well. However, both recognize each other's strengths. For his part, apart from strength, Ottar considers Finn to be superior to him in every aspect.[1]
Zald[]
Despite how weak he was compared to him and his Familia, Zald always held Ottar in high regard for his tenacity. On the other hand, Ottar saw him as a powerful and imposing warrior, frightened at the idea of having to face him.
When he met him again, Ottar was stunned that he was helping Evilus destroy Orario. At that moment, Zald's words about how weak he was affected him badly, turning this later into a trauma for Ottar, further playing an important role in shaping him as the fierce warrior that he currently is.
