Ouranos (ウラノス) is the head of the Guild.
Appearance[]
Ouranos has white hair and blue eyes. He wears a white robe with a black hooded cloak and sandals.
Personality[]
Ouranos follows the philosophy of ruling but not governing, leaving the matters of the Guild to Royman Mardeel, while he himself stays in the Room of Prayer under the Guild to use his divinity to keep monsters from coming out of the Dungeon. He is extremely stoic, and selfless, having patiently watched over the Dungeon for 1000 years to preserve peace in the world. Ouranos is also compassionate and open to new ideas, being the first to believe that the Xenos could peacefully co-exist with the people on the surface.
History[]
Ouranos was one of the first Gods to descend from Heaven and the first one to ever grant falna and therefore form a familia, with one of his dependents having been the legendary Daedalus. At some point he encountered Fels, who from thereon became his personal and secret agent.
Abilities[]
Great God: As a Great God, Ouranos stands out among the other Gods as a powerful deity. The intensity, presence, and divinity he emits are vastly superior to those of normal Gods. His status also grants him some resistance to the Charm of the Goddesses of Beauty, although it cannot completely protect him from Freya's.
Divine Perception: As a God, Ouranos possesses a supernatural perception. Even without a clue, when his intuition tells him something it is correct. He can also immediately tell when a mortal is telling a lie. However, he cannot distinguish lies from other Gods.
Divinity (神威): As a God, Ouranos exudes a divine aura that allows mortals to recognize him as a God. He can also unleash more of his divinity at will to acquire a more imposing presence. As a Great God, his divinity is vastly superior to that of normal Gods.
Ouranos primarily uses his divinity to enhance the prayers he offers to the Dungeon. Through these prayers, he keeps the Dungeon under control by preventing hordes of monsters from reaching the surface and ravaging the Lower World. His role makes him the cornerstone that prevents the world from being destroyed. Due to his position, he also notices when strange events occur in the Dungeon, such as the births of the only two Juggernauts ever to appear.
Arcanum (
- Divine Mirror: Ouranos is able to create a mirror that allows him to see any location he wishes in the Lower World. Despite no longer being in Heaven, he is allowed to use it without being sent back, though its use is still restricted.
