Alise Lovell[]
Although initially rude towards her, due to her untrusting nature, Ryuu developed both a strong friendly bond with Alise and a deep admiration for her. Even as an Elf who didn't allow anyone to touch her, she let Alise do so when they first met, and her interest of her even later led her to become part of her Familia. Despite her quite rough and blunt attitude, Ryuu trusted her the most and usually went with her to ask for advice when she needed it.
While she still holds her in high regard, due to letting her die along with the rest of her comrades, and having betrayed their idea of justice, Ryuu felt a lot of guilt for it and didn't think she deserved to meet her and the rest again. However, after talking with Bell and overcoming her past, she found peace at last. When wondering what to do regarding her feelings towards Bell, Ryuu sometimes asks Alise in her mind what to do and even sees an image of her expressing her support and telling her to not let him go.
Bell Cranel[]
Ryuu first met Bell through Syr. Ever since then, Ryuu has kept a friendly relationship with Bell and helped him whenever he required help, such as when he was trapped in Rivira and during the War Game with the Apollo Familia.
Ryuu has been shown to have feelings for Bell ever since he grabbed her hands out of gratitude for finding the Hestia Knife. Despite her elf heritage, Alise advised her in the past to not let go of a man who is able to hold your hand. Nevertheless, she prioritized Syr's feelings over her own, though she still chased after Bell with her eyes.
After the events of volume 14, Ryuu's feelings grew exponentially, causing her to run away in embarrassment whenever she spoke to him. Due to it, she constantly avoided him until she was finally forced to talk with him. Following this, she finally became able to interact with him like normal again.
Unfortunately, she once again was left confused when she learned Syr was going to go on a date with him, a result of the combination of both her mixed feelings and her inability to understand them, something that severely affected her over the following days. As she followed their date, her condition only seemed to worsen. Although she hadn't come to a solution, she still aided him and whom she thought was Syr when she knew they were in danger, demonstrating her willingness to protect both of them.
After he had rejected Syr during their date, Ryuu became furious of Bell's actions. However, after hearing he already had someone to chase, she realized she had overlooked his feelings, and apologized for it. She also seemingly became aware that Ais was the target of his affection, as she forbade the swordswoman to meet Bell when she went to Folkvangr while blushing and tripping over her words.
In the War Game against the Freya Familia, Ryuu finally decided to confess her feelings to Bell. However, she soon joined the battle against Ottar without waiting for an answer, possibly due to knowing he was already in love with someone else.
Syr Flova[]
Syr is one of Ryuu's colleagues at the Hostess of Fertility. Ryuu is friendly to Syr like to the rest of the staff. However, they are usually seen together more than everyone else in the pub. Because of Ryuu's previous ignorance of Syr's real identity, she was sometimes surprised by her whenever she did something unexpected and by her connections. Nonetheless, they did not hesitate in helping each other when one was in need.
In the past, when Ryuu was at death's door, Syr found her and saved her life. After rescuing Ryuu, Syr convinced Mia to employ her as a waitress at the Hostess of Fertility. Ryuu is protective of Syr, as she cares deeply for Syr, and puts Syr's feelings before her own.
Upon knowing that she was going to go on a date with Bell, she was left dumbfounded as she didn't know how to treat them in case they became lovers, something that was only worsened by her inability to properly understand her feelings, severely affecting her over the following days. As she and her coworkers followed Syr's date with Bell, her confusion only seemed to increase, being noted by Chloe that she also seemed gloomy. Despite all her doubts, she still came in aid of whom she thought was Syr, showing her appreciation for her was nonetheless intact.
Upon finally learning Syr's true identity as Freya, Ryuu was shocked and denied that she was truly Syr when the Goddess showed an attitude unbefitting her friend's usual one. Their relationship returned back to normal after Ryuu and the rest of waitresses convinced Freya to stay in Orario as Syr following the War Game.
