Summary[]
The day before the War Game the Freya Familia was attacked by the Kali Familia. After about half a year staying in Melen they had finally decided to make a move, launching a surprise attack at night that took even the Guild, who had been way of them, by surprise.
However, just an hour later Kali was impressed to see the unconscious bodies of all her dependents laying on the floor. Freya questioned her about her intentions, to which she simply replied they had wanted to face them. While laughing, Kali commented that she used to think the world was quite small, but now she realized how vast it was.
Though several einhejars had been knocked out, Ottar had quickly defeated the entire faction on his own. However, this earned him the anger of the rest of the executives for having taken all the opponents.
Ottar had done it to not disturb his Goddess' abode in preparation for the War Game, but receiving only criticism for it had made him start to get angry.
For her part, Heith hesitantly thanked him for keeping her workload from increasing and patted him on the back as she felt sorry for her captain. However, it was precisely the girl's pity that pierced the deepest into his heart. The feeling made Ottar start to want to shed tears.
