Seeking the Love Dagger (ラヴ・ダガーを求めて) is a special short story given to those who purchased volume 17 of DanMachi in Toranoana.
Summary[]
Hephaestus was upset. She knew there was a weapon she had forgotten, but try as she might she was unable to remember a single thing about it, except for the fact that she had forged it about half a year ago.
As the Goddess of Blacksmithing, Hephaestus remembered every detail of every weapon she had ever forged, passing that knowledge on to her next works to continue producing weapons of the highest quality. Hence why, although it made her suspect that someone had altered her memories, her main concern was deciphering the identity of the weapon she had forgotten.
A dependent of hers then arrived to inform her that Hestia had missed work for the seventh day in a row, so Hephaestus decided to take out her frustration on her. The Goddess also planned to ask her if she knew anything about the weapon, not letting go of the massive debt she owed her or that she had hired her friend right around the time she had forged it.
Once at her home Hephaestus aggressively interrogated Hestia. However, as she was being watched by the Freya Familia her friend could not tell her anything about its owner, Bell, so she limited herself to making a poor attempt at pretending she knew nothing. Hestia ended up begging for her forgiveness while falling victim to Hephaestus' unprecedented storm of anger.
