Summary[]
On one of her days off, Hestia came to Bell as it was already getting dark and asked if he could recommend her a heroic tale. Her sudden interest intrigued him, to which Hestia explained that she wanted to have a common topic to talk about with him like Haruhime.
Happy to see her enthusiasm, Bell stood up to go to his home's book storage and was surprised to find a book titled "Tale of the Wand and Sword" on the shelf of heroic tales that he had never seen before. Hestia took it and was soon absorbed in the book. The Goddess continued reading and turning back to previous pages as if she had picked up something interesting.
Seeing her reading so immersed in a story he didn't even know made Bell start to feel nervous until his Goddess looked up and declared that it was a story with a double heroine format. Hestia declared that she supported Colette, because although the other was the protagonist's childhood friend, she considered that it was wrong to turn her into a flower on top of a hill out of his reach that he longed to reach, and that true happiness was the girl who had always been by the protagonist's side.
Full of curiosity, Bell asked her to let him read that story, so Hestia suggested that they read it together. The two sat on the floor with the book in both of their hands and, excited to see what was going to happen, Bell turned the page.
