Red Zone (
Summary[]
On the 24th floor, Bete, Lefiya, and Filvis steadily made their way to the Pantry, clearing out large numbers of monsters on the way. Lefiya was impressed at how Filvis was able to fight off multiple enemies on her own as she always had a deep admiration for Magic Swordsmen. Noting her skill, Bete remarked that he wished Lefiya was that skilled, however Filvis came to her defense by pointing out that Lefiya's power was more important. He then asked if Lefiya was satisfied with herself, noting that the others seemed to spoil her, further telling her that she was just a burden as long as her magic was her only good point. Feeling magic power, Lefiya immediately looked around for its source, but upon finding nothing she continued on with her power. As they left, Ein, who had been following them, soundlessly continued on.
Near the Pantry, the Hermes Familia decided to continue on without Ais, entering the Pantry soon after. To their surprise, they saw three huge Monsters wrapped around the central crystal, with Lulune spotting another Green Jewel at the base of the crystal. Near the crystal, a man dressed in white spotted the Hermes Familia, ordering the members of Evilus to get rid of them. Both sides began fighting and the Hermes Familia seemingly gained the upper hand. Despite this, Thane sensed that something was wrong, pushing Lulune away just before the Evilus member near him detonated the items on him, killing himself and heavily injuring Thane in the process. Another Evilus member revealed that each of them had a large amount of Kaenseki strapped to their bodies which would detonate if exposed to heat. The Hermes Familia members frantically tried to escape as the Evilus members rushed at them, intent on taking them out with themselves, forcing Asfi to order the rearguard members to assist them. The white clothed man insulted the Evilus members, referring to them as those who were bound by the Gods, before chasing the Hermes Familia into a corner by calling a large number of Violas to surround them on the other side.
